Truly. Feels like we have really crossed the rubicon on political scandals that make an impact. Anything short of a politician caught stabbing a hooker in HD video while identifying himself will just get Maddow fired up for a few days of shows and then get lost in the wash of other bullshit.

I actually have a video of that, but my only copy of it got lost in the mail. I promise.

My 7th grade social studies teacher said there were some redneck assholes definitely celebrating Kennedy's assassination.

There were thousands of Arabs in Jersey celebrating when it happened. I saw it.

LOL after the recent Hunter Biden stuff on China. Literally every accusation is a confession. Every single one.

This isn't just some fun meme.  It is literally reality.  They project their misdeeds onto others so in case they get caught, they can say the other side was doing it too.

I really don't know if they ever will.  And I don't think that's a good thing, by the way.  But seriously, will anyone who isn't already a cultist ever believe a single word from the party of Qanon, Pizzagate, and Rudy's shitshows?
At this point, they could come to me with a videotaped confession of Joe Biden saying "I love Chinese bribes, I've taken $100 million in Chinese bribes, here, look at this briefcase full of cash,".....and I wouldn't buy it without 1,000 layers of independent proof, video analysis, etc.  They have no credibility left.  And that sucks.  Because some things are and should remain scandals, and I don't care if they are uncovered by Joe Schmoe or an opposition party -- if it's real, and it matters, then it's real, and it matters.
But nothing the GOP says is real anymore.  Nothing.  They are the party of deranged, magical thinking.  They stand their and lie to our faces relentlessly (still waiting on that beautiful healthcare plan in two weeks....from early 2016, when it was first promised by this regime).  And then wonder why we don't believe a thing they say?  Damn shame what a political party became.

We can’t even rely on video evidence any longer.

Welcome to the world of deepfakes.

Politico has an extremely depressing article about the pollsters who supplied the data for the 2016 USC LA Times poll that predicted a Trump win, and they are big believers in the “shy Trump voter” concept. Essentially, there are a shit ton of people so embarrassed by supporting Trump, they won’t admit it to a live pollster, so they lie. I don’t have the energy to do the nice quotes and link, but if you want to join Brisket on the ledge, I went ahead and put the link here.

Obviously, these people were on to something in 2016 but the dynamics have changed. There are no shy Trump voters anymore. It’s also, situational, I guarantee there are shy Biden voters in Tex. I know of at least 10 off the top of my head. People who are repubs but whispered to me they couldn’t do it again and are voting Biden.

Cahaly (Trafalgar) is going to get pantsed this year.  Badly.  He's doubled down on the shy Trump voter phenomenon.  You can tell he is a hack because, when asked if there was a shy HRC voter in 2016, he responded 'absolutely not'. There were plenty who held their nose and voted for HRC in 2016, and there will be plenty that will do the same for Biden this year.  I know some personally.

Has anyone made a map of the Trump rally locations and covid outbreak? Is there a correlation?

Yes they have. Google it. There’s been an uptick in cases after every stop

The best part is that he left his top-coat on for the photo.  As if to suggest, "Hey kids, just got back from the drive-thru...look what dad brought home from the Burger King."

The state dinner serving trays were also a nice touch.  This man just exudes class and refinement.

Years from now, I promise the terms "arriviste" or "nouveau riche" will be replaced by "Trumpian."  Only none of his supporters will ever know that, because you know...reading.

What exactly makes you believe this?

I actually think he means Joe's mind is gone and he has to be removed by the 25th, because every accusation is a confession and Trump think's he's having problems and/or paranoid about the 25th Amendment.

Joe is a boring old white guy.

Kamala, according to Trump followers, is a rabid socialist who is farther left than Bernie and wants to take your guns, make you get gay-married, and close down your churches and replace them with Indian temples or whatever she believes in.

Kamala is actually an argument against Trump's followers attacking Biden.

If you white trash fuckers take Joe out you get Kamala.
Take her out and you'll get Bernie.
Take Bernie out? AOC.
And if y'all are still at it we'll get Hillary and Kaepernick somewhere in line.

Better behave kids.

Yeah, I mean the last four years of Biden sending Yemen refugees into Duluth has been off the fucking charts.  To put that at a 700% increase?  That takes us from the Radial Terror to the Sublime Terror.  I mean, I'm scared mister.  Somebody's gotta do something!

It should be clear to the most casual observer, that the once shy Trump voter is no longer all that shy. Over the last four years, Trump has normalized a set of behaviors that his people are no longer ashamed to exhibit. They are out and proud.
