Donald Trump 2020

Re the Berman situation....in case anyone was unclear that this administration is in a state of open war against the Rule of Law....yeah.

The tweet above is spot on: most people don’t realize how far along we are to being a totalitarian state. It happens behind the scenes first, and then it’s all out in the open. Just because you don’t see the gestapo rounding up political dissidents doesn’t mean that the pieces aren’t all in place.

This next election is for our survival as a country. And if it is stolen, there should be - must be - an actual war to save it...but if it gets to that point, we’ve already lost.

I think that the military leadership of this country will not back him if it gets to that.  Which does not mean it it frightening as fuck.

Those damned Reagan judges.

The funny thing is, a civil suit won't be completed before Trump is run out on a rail and neither is any criminal action.  The Biden administration should drop it as a public service.  /disjinx

The source added that they hoped coverage of former National Security Adviser John Bolton’s tell-all book about Trump would actually lead to a poll bump for the president, if for no other reason than it would mean less talk of racism, COVID, and social unrest.

Plus genetic stupidity.

Between the genes and the home environment, I'm gonna guess that no educational system of any type would prevail upon these people.

These were the kids that asked "why do we have to learn this" and "is this going to be on the test"?

"When am I ever going to have to know this?"

This is true, it’s environmental.  Huge swaths of the country are mental superfund sites, where ignorance is a badge of honor and you have to act like everyone else.

I keep leaving off teachers when I talk about the hate engine.

Anyone who can help the little guy is a villain: lawyers, unions, the press, your congressman, and EDUCATORS. How many stories has the hate engine dug up about wildly crazy things some individual teacher has done in a classroom and dipped their broad brush into that story to paint the entire system as a lib conspiracy with a hidden agenda wrapped to fit their narrative?

On the money side of things, education presents problems that can't be be fixed by throwing money at it while borrowing money to throw at feeding the defense and law enforcement budgets is always the right solution for problems in those areas. Hell, they even want to steal public money from public schools and transfer it to private schools via vouchers. How many private school attendees do you see in the Trump camps?

Ask any of the unwashed, unconjugating mob around Trump's venue how much they value education, a good education that could improve their lot in life. They're as hostile to it as they are to lawyers, unions, reporters, government, and illusory libs such as feminazis and environmental wackos. AND SCIENTISTS!

Don't get me started.

Idiot World, my friends. Idiot World.

Screw you man, I was totally that kid that said that second line, "Is this going to be on the test?"  I was intellectually curious so I liked the learning party.  But when it came to studying for the test, let me know the bare fucking minimum I can get by with to maintain my 3.0 and scholarship money.

But if it's just about education and shitty schools, how come Hispanics aren't more racist?  Statistically speaking, they come from poorer/underperforming schools yet consistently rank as the least racist demographic in the nation.

As others stated, there is also tremendous herd pressure not to shine too much academically.  And certainly looked down upon to read newspapers, attend cultural events, branch out of your social and familial circles, watch an international football match instead of a NASCAR race, that kinda shit.  Nothing that'll make you too well-rounded, lest you get labeled as a sell-out.

I remember vividly in grades 6-12, kids would get picked on because they were into math, or computers, or robots, or video games, or politics/current events, or sci-fi/fantasy shit, etc.  That was 30 years ago, when those interests and hobbies were grounds for being picked on by other boys, and a deal-breaker for chasing girls.   Society grew up, particularly when it came to schools and bullying.  Well, a lot of Trump's America is still in that phase.  Only the people aren't in junior high, they're fully grown voters and it's not just between 3rd and 4th periods, it involves 60 million assholes covering the entire nation in little pockets of shithead mentality.  Meantime the popular guys pulling ass are now the guys that are into all the shit I mentioned above.  And these other bullies don't like that, they feel like the last 30 years of their life is their Senior Year being replayed over and over again like Groundhog Day where the prospects for a great future slim down more and more; and the the other 140mm "Nerds" in this country have long since passed them by.
