If someone cannot communicate clearly enough so that it makes it seem he's  calling on assassination of the next president, well then he shouldn't have that microphone.  I'm done trying to parse out what trump means.  He spews vile shit and word salad every time he opens his gob.  His intent in one particular sentence is meaningless.

The double entendre is intentional

  • Shot = out of gas; dog whistle = assassinated
  • Someone should stop them = vote them out; dog whistle = kidnap, fake trial, and assassinate

There is a theme

Trump knows that Secret Service protection, while adequate and very professionally dedicated, is nowhere near as robust after you leave office...right?  You've already put their colleagues in harm's way with Covid-19 parades.  Now you're inviting people to come make an attempt on the life on the next President.  They're the utmost professionals on Planet Earth, but it's not a good idea to start your post-presidency detail on such an asshole-note. Don't matter none anyhow...you're dead from natural causes in the next couple years anyway.  Enjoy the ride Commander Dipshit.

We've lost 8 Presidents in office.  8 out of 45.  And not once, no matter how fractured the nation was...did anyone every celebrate publicly the death of one of our Presidents.  It ranged from shock to full-on mourning.  I promise you, you will be the first and only President in American history to have his death celebrated by tens of millions of people nationwide, hundreds of millions worldwide.  That's an amazing feat.  None that could be accomplished by anyone but you.  The albatross you are tying around the neck of your children and grandchildren will haunt them like so many demons.

There are no more Bohrmanns.  No more Stalins.  No more Pots.  Because their families did the honorable thing...changed their names, went into hiding, or took their own lives.  What an amazing legacy you left them.  You are truly a leader of the highest caliber.

Ehhh, there were people celebrating Abe's death.  Which might make Trump's death a weird alternate universe type thing.

Yeah, but technically those 2-3 weeks of celebration were done by a foreign adverse nation...the Confederated States.

There will be a party in all 50 states and 7 territories when Trump dies.  That'll be unprecedented.  I know because I'm already getting catering orders.

What is the appropriate menu for the Trump Death Celebration?  Does it overlap with the stuff you bring to the swinger's orgy potluck?  Menu planning is becoming a real challenge in these times.

By definition--conservative.

Have a friend that was a corporate attorney, oftentimes defending these types of corporations.  If the fine was less less than the gain, that was the cost of doing business.  If I do something bad and make 12 million dollars but only have to pay a 3 million dollar fine, then it was worth the fine and is worth repeating.  That is pure capitalism. Now imagine that this involves your water, air, and food and 12 million is pocket change.  But hey, their investors made a lot of money so it justifies the damage, right?

Were talking about the Astros, right?

This white trash piece of shit bought mcdonald's for a national championship team visiting the wh. that will never not be amazing and hilarious.

Maybe he's like Tom Hanks in Big. Basically everything he does is exactly what a 10 year-old boy would do.

While I thank you in providing this article, I am not happy that I just read it. Wow, that was, ugh. Plausible but sad to think about. Damn.

Trump fleeing losing the election and fleeing the country as a fugitive never to return makes you sad?

That's a win-win-win in my book.

There are going to be way too many people who are going to call for 'unity' and 'healing' and who will want to put this dark chapter behind us and 'help move the country forward'.

Fuck that.

They need to start hauling these assholes up in front of the Senate - and then they need to start bringing charges.  They need to make the Benghazi hearing look tame by comparison.  Every single one of these assholes need to be held accountable for the corruption and the human rights abuses.

They need to make an example of Barr so that no future AG gets the idea that he can act as the president's personal attorney.

Drown them all. Iron cage. No clothes. Slow voyage. North Atlantic. International telecast of cage sliding over the side and disappearing into the depths. Never speak their names again.

Fast food, duh.

Yeah, I think this is the play.  A pyramid of stacked Burger King and whatever else Trump had in that photo of that State Dinner.  I'd totally do that and take pics and post.

I know, right? The lead singer for YMCA is a gay Black man, and the rest of the band is largely, if not entirely, gay, not to mention a couple minorities sprinkled in here and there. People who champion that kind of diversity are not the folks I want to be aligned with.

Back in the glory days of SNL, "The Village Persons" performed "Bend Over Chuck Berry (disco's here to stay). Belushi was the indian.

No. And this is a tangent but it’s important.

That 9 million dollars is called an externality. It’s the cost of a private transaction borne by those who aren’t a party to the exchange of value. Socialized, in other words.
The reason why the greatest environmental disasters in history have occurred under either socialist regimes is that if the everyone has equity in everything there’s no such thing as externalities cost. but I digress.
The point here is that owning the means of production includes incurring the full cost. If the legal regime permits large scale externalized cost or artificial price caps are imposed (as in med mal caps) that’s not capitalism, period. It’s either socialism or kleptocracy.

personal responsibility!  unless you're a job creator, then you get limited liability and slaps on the wrist and get to dump waste products into the public without any realistic expectation that you clean up after yourself and if some kids get cancer or 90% of life on earth gets wiped out well that's just too bad.

Being reported on CNN by an Illinois congressman:

Dotard tried to use $250 million meant for Covid ad campaign for his re-election campaign AND that the campaign made a "McCarthy-esque" list of 274 celebrities and what their political leanings are.

Any other admin and this would be "holy fucking shit" news, especially 5 days before the election.

Truly. Feels like we have really crossed the rubicon on political scandals that make an impact. Anything short of a politician caught stabbing a hooker in HD video while identifying himself will just get Maddow fired up for a few days of shows and then get lost in the wash of other bullshit.

I'm not a political sign guy.  Never have been probably never will be.

Neighbors to the east have had signs of various sorts up since Beto in 2018.  Comically, the neighbor to their east has a sign about "racism," but everything except the word RACISM is obscured by bushes.

Buuuuut, the neighbor to the west has a fucking Trump sign.  It's the one with the hair.

Once, their back yard light was shining in our bedroom window.  So I shot it out with a pellet gun (it really doesn't need to be pointed in our direction at all).  I don't feel bad about that anymore.

I really don't know if they ever will.  And I don't think that's a good thing, by the way.  But seriously, will anyone who isn't already a cultist ever believe a single word from the party of Qanon, Pizzagate, and Rudy's shitshows?

At this point, they could come to me with a videotaped confession of Joe Biden saying "I love Chinese bribes, I've taken $100 million in Chinese bribes, here, look at this briefcase full of cash,".....and I wouldn't buy it without 1,000 layers of independent proof, video analysis, etc.  They have no credibility left.  And that sucks.  Because some things are and should remain scandals, and I don't care if they are uncovered by Joe Schmoe or an opposition party -- if it's real, and it matters, then it's real, and it matters.

But nothing the GOP says is real anymore.  Nothing.  They are the party of deranged, magical thinking.  They stand their and lie to our faces relentlessly (still waiting on that beautiful healthcare plan in two weeks....from early 2016, when it was first promised by this regime).  And then wonder why we don't believe a thing they say?  Damn shame what a political party became.
