Actually I think Biden would let him use AF1 if only to set a good example. Trump is gonna bitch no matter, so may as well give him one less thins to feed his victim complex on the way out the door. At this this kind of thing has a definite end date.

Rent it to him for the day and make him pay up front, with a security deposit.

Why would Biden let Trump use a plane when Trump won't even fucking recognize Biden's presidency? That is absurd.

The niceties of receiving intelligence briefings after Presidency and using AF1 are niceties, and if you're calling the other person illegitimate and burning the place on the way out. Trump can get fucked.

This. The second he can be removed from the tax payer teeth, it needs to be done. Let his dumbass donors foot his travel bills.

Biden can't stop Trump from using AF1 prior to being sworn in.  This is a non-issue.

But there would be an expectation that AF1 would be safely parked at Andrews when he takes over.

Could the Air Force?

Until Biden's swearing in, there is nothing to keep DJT from being in the air in AF1. There is also nothing that would stop President Biden, in the next second after taking the oath, from ordering AF1 to immediately land and disgorge its refuse.

How funny would that be if they dumped him at some random base in the Carolinas.

If he is in the air on AF1 at noon, make an emergency landing at the nearest suitable airport, escort him off the plane, and give him cab fare to the nearest bus station.

Biden is trying extra hard to be above the fray in all of this, so I doubt he will do anything outside of normal protocol here, but this is a very interesting hypothetical. Suppose Trump lost to a left wing Trump, a Michael Avenatti type, and Trump takes off from Andrews at 11:59 am. At 12:01 could the next president order the plane to land?

We have more than one, don’t we?

If you want to get technical then the plane he's on would lose it's designation as Air Force One the second Biden becomes president.

'Air Force One' is really whatever aircraft the President is on. So if DJT is flying on AF1 at noon (or whenever the oath is given), then at that moment, it is no longer AF1, and is just a very expensive specialized 747. We probably do have two, but don't forget, that we will need to find and remove all the bugs that the Russians have stuck inside it.

I understand. But I believe we have more than 1 747 equipped with the same shit, for purposes of maintenance as well as decoy if needed.  Or maybe not a 747 but another plane properly equipped to transport potus.

There are two 747s that are used as AF1.  Trump will probably take one back to Florida to be dropped off and one will be in Washington to be AF1.  The other will return after it drops off the fatass and gets fumigated.

I'm all about Trump having to fly SWA with boarding number C-45.  Middle seat.  No way he is A-List or has a Priority Pass for his emotional support hooker.

There are two.

And moreover, AF1 is a call sign, not a specific airplane.

didn't trump already put his helicopter up for sale?

Maybe, but I don't think it matters. That doesn't have the legs for DC to anywhere he'd want to go (presumably FL).

Wellllll... there's a really really petty part of me that would love to see the Air Force respond appropriately to a plane carrying the identified leader of a coup against the nation.

Oh you know he kept up maintenance and it's in tip top shape.

Have the SS on AF1 push him off somewhere over the Atlantic.

He might survive a fall into water. Over firm earth, then have a B-1 drop a few 500lb bombs just to be sure.

AF1 refers to any plane carrying the president. As far as I'm concerned, they can fly his fat ass to Florida in a Cessna 172 and still be legitimately flying on AF1.

Leave him at the airport. Give him the old Lane Kiffin treatment.

I'd prefer they tell him he's taking the new "Space Force 1", put him in some random rocket and shoot him out toward the sun.

We need to explore this Air Force One naming thing more.

Once that’s clear, we can delve into Marine One, then whether or not a Coast Guard One designation exists and if it has ever been used.
