ESPN MegaCast: Coaches' Film Room will return for the NC title game, alongside a brand-new 'RefCast'

ESPN’s MegaCast production includes eight additional presentations across its television networks and six more offerings available on the ESPN App to complete the MegaCast.

Field Pass (ESPN2), Command Center (ESPNEWS), DataCenter (Goal Line), Sounds of the Game (ESPN Classic), the Spanish-language telecast (ESPN Deportes) and Hometown Radio (ACC Network and SEC Network) remain staples of the MegaCast, while Coaches Film Room (ESPNU) returns. The debut of Refcast – an option that allows viewers to watch the game through referees’ perspective — highlights the ESPN App selections, with the All-22 viewing angle, Skycast and Techcast also available digitally.

- AllCam captures the entire field, allowing isolated shots on any player and activity on the field at all times.

- Pylon Cameras at each corner of the end zone with the back line pylons now having ability to pan, tilt and zoom – covering more of the end zone than ever before.

- Multiple Skycams include traditional and hi-sky, showcasing the action from various heights above the field.

- On-the-field views will be seen, as cameras will be attached atop the caps of the officials.

- Line-to-Gain will have multiple vantage points, as first down marker cam (high vantage) and pylon cam at the first down line (low angle) return to this year’s telecast.

- Virtual reality graphics that span across the entire field and can be seen by multiple cameras at the same time.

They're bringing 100 cameras and are going to want to use them all.  Can't wait for a 5 hour game with 30 reviews.

If they stuff any more cameras into the pylons, those things are going to become sentient.

I want helmet cams on all 22 players with 22 screens for each on my tv..

NFL2k5 style I like it.

Really for me the WRs and CBs would be cool because I never got to play out wide

The coaches' lineup for the film room will be Gundy, Patterson, Narduzzi, Derek Mason, and Jeff Hafley

Really like that lineup. I know my Eags alum brother will be really interested in what Hafley's like.

I'm tentatively interested in the RefCast. With a Pac-12 officiating crew, you know there will be fuck-ups and it'll be interesting to see veteran refs address them.

Great, sounds of the game is on the only channel I don't get in hd

Sounds of the game was a good watch last year. An added bonus is that you get the school band performances at halftime, instead of whatever overdone pop act they have booked on the main channel.
