Been doing a ski trip with the guys for 15 or so years. We ski, drink, snowmobile, play cards, and just hang out. We rotate areas each year and have always been able to be around that budget range. Going to the coast to chase redfish would be next on my list.

I went to Mexico City with some friends for a three day weekend and had a blast. Cheap direct flight, pretty high end accommodations for the money, and amazing food and bars. Uber everywhere.

Egypt is better...

It’s closer to Spanish Camp.

Garwood has a blinking yellow light.   Nada has nada.   You’re probably thinking of Altair, where 71 and 90 intersect.

Bonus!

no man, the store next to the post office in Nada ALWAYS has a red light on at night. what the hell is going on there?

@CHAD BRISCOE's sister gives $5 handjobs around back when the light is on. If you're short on cash an Allsup's burrito will do.

Boundary Waters in northern Minnesota.

Grew up on Lake of the woods, some of the best walleye fishing that you don't have to fly into.

Then again northern Ontario and Manitoba have some phenomenal fly in fishing camps.

Some buddies and I were talking about doing another guys golf weekend and, since one of the guys doesn't golf, the conversation turned into another idea.  We discussed having an annual guys trip where someone selects the trip and we go through a rotation.  That way we don't get stuck doing golf trips every year with the one guy who only wants to spend money on golf every chance he gets.

I was trying to get some ideas but, when I googled it, all that came up was stupid shit like "guys trip to Italy, trek the Amazon, spend the night sleeping on a volcano."  Don't get me wrong, I like a good guy's golf or Vegas weekend, but I'm looking for some other ideas that we can consider.  Budget wouldn't be huge $500-$1K for the weekend, probably sans travel costs.

College Football trip/weekend.

Gives you time to golf if people really want to as it grows, and you can vote on where to go yearly.
