Amy and Pete have sucked tonight in my opinion. At least in the I wanna be the president game.

Pete sounds like a debate robot. Amy sounds like my drunk aunt talking about my loser cousins and her ex husband.

She said that she was the only person who had beaten an incumbent Republican "in the last 30 years".

It is 2020. "The last 30 years" is 1990-2020.

Bernie also beat an incumbent Republican in the last 30 years.

Her math was wrong.

Bernie probably told Liz a woman can't win.

M4A is the best way.  My mom's on it and visiting primary or specialists is very inexpensive, no deductibles. There is slight bit of copay $25/$35, but no coinsurance.

i'm not really paying attention, but it sounded more like "the only one in the past 30 years" which she meant as "it's been 30 years since it's happened".

she was right, and so was he, because of the weird way she phrased it.  also because who the f cares.

the dodgers haven't won a world series in 32 years.  32 years ago, they won one.

Then she should have actually said that, I guess?

If the "30 years" thing is any indication, Warren and Bernie don't know how to communicate with each other. She seemed genuinely confused about his 1990 win counting for "in the last 30 years" and he had no idea how she missed it. After seeing that between them, it's much easier to see how they could have had a huge misunderstanding about America voting for women.

That’s exactly how my ex and I communicated, hence the ex part. Well that and him sleeping around.

that was the last time someone on that stage beat an incumbent republican, 30 years ago.  this ain't a hard concept.

She looked like a fucktard having a fit when she should have just let Bernie talk.

She's smart as fuck but holy shit she's a tough pill to swallow.

Thankfully, we're in hard times now so I can swallow the pill.

An insurance town? ROFLMAO

My family have been insurance people for generations. My grandfather brought my father down to the insurance mines as a child. My great-grandfather died of paperclip-thumb before OSHA regulations came in.

My favorite was when the Klob said that Presidents "need to be competent, and they need to know what they're doing".

The $37 Trillion for healthcare over 10 years is already funded by premiums to private insurance which brings about copays, co insurance and high deductibles along with terrible exclusions. M4A will divert the existing funding and solve all the nastiness, as it already does for those 65+ like our parents.  The beast already exists, nothing to reinvent, just give it to everyone.

And if "Ms. Smarter than you" didn't make the kind of face that you want to slap, it never would have been an issue.

And she needs to stop focusing on identity politics.  And that's what it was when she basically talked about the men not beating an incumbent for 30 years.

You're in Mass., Ms. Einstein.  Nobody gives two shits that you beat a Republican in Mass.

It totally makes it crystal clear how they both believe what was said and it differs completely. They are BOTH telling the truth in what they understood was said.

An old married couple screaming at each other in a diner and everyone else is just smiling with wide eyes saying, "Can you believe this shit? Why are they even mad at each other?"

Actually I think they are arguing the definition of “in”.

30 years from today 1/14/20 means 1/15/1990 - 1/14/2020 . So if Bernie beat a R in that time span, he's right.

Yep this was a very smart tweet on their part. Already trying to get the pissed off bernie bro Incels to vote for daddy once he loses the primary.

I like how Warren’s point was that Bernie has been winning Senate elections for 30 years, whereas Warren has won two of them, ergo Warren is the one with a winning track record.

P.S. Bernie isn’t a Democrat

Yeah. We should ring those up to the bill of the billionaires and corporations as well. Why not.
