Mexico City

I want to go on an old-book-finding raid of Mexico City within the next two months. Keep it simple-- Zócalo area, UNAM, Estudios Azteca (I geek out trying to map the Old West Village that appeared in tons of 60s and 70s films. Probably 99% no trace left, but all I need is to see a couple of photos in their museum.)

I prefer buses, cash, and taxis. Best food I ever ate there was at taxi driver cafes. Also never got sick at street stands, if that's a worry.

Gotta wind down some of my meds. I feel up to explaining what 8 or 9 are for, but to hell with 14.

All y'all who haven't been to Frida's Casa Azul, git ye there. I never went to the other house, the double one connected with a little walkway. Guess that's my assignment.

La Condesa is a great area. Lot’s of trees and walk to anything you need. I could eat the street food in Mexico City for every meal.

Second La Condesa.  Far enough away from the city center, but still quick access to great restaurants and street food.  Not too far to walk to a Metro station as well.  Use the Metro during the day for getting around and switch to Uber after sundown.

I’ll keep my opinion on Pujol to myself…
