I hear the medical workers love freaky sex, so if anyone here from New York has sex with her and she gives up the butt then you know.

I've always assumed this was the case. Probably because a buddy I grew up with lived next to a nurse who was a freak. One summer after 9th grade a couple of us were spending the night at my friends house and we were swimming in the pool around 2 AM.

We hear some cars pull up nextdoor and my buddy jumps out of the pool giggling "y'all have to see this, let's get ready." My friend runs off and returns with a ladder explaining you need a ladder to get jump over the privacy fence. The nurse's backyard had a tree to climb back over without a  ladder. We still didn't know what we were going to see but his enthusiasm was off the charts so we went along. We dressed in burglar clothes and packed some snacks.

A little later we are in the nurses backyard and that was the moment I discovered the concept of a Devil's Triangle. It was like watching a porno but instead of a TV it was this nurse with two dudes in her Den with the sliding door blinds open. The 4 of us sat on a flower bed drinking Jolt cola watching from the backyard. Apparently my buddy discovered the nurse held late night parties on the weekends and rather than tell us he wanted us to see it.

Years later in college during Christmas break I was dropping my buddy off after bar hopping when a couple of cars pull up at the nurses house. This was during our Junior year of college. "Damn, she still throwing sex parties?" LOL That women has to be in her 70's by now.

Damn you! Just re-watched the Alamo bowl last night. I'm going to pretend our entire season was that one game.

I didn't even bother trying to catch the Alamo Bowl, and I was not that surprised Texas won big because of it. That's how it works. Maybe I'll give it a watch this week. Though seeing Ossai go off from the edge might just irritate me given how he was used all year.

This would be great.  Question is, how quickly can they ramp up production?

This is also interesting...maybe Coronavirus more of a blood diesease....

https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2020-05-04/coronavirus-causes-blood-clots-harming-organs-from-brain-to-toes?sref=knoriXqz

And now to rant for a minute.  There are literally so many stupid people in the world, and the internet has given them a pulpit. At the end of they day, this whole mess is a massive balancing act.  We were never going to stop this thing cold.  We would have had to know about it back in November/December, and immediately close borders to EVERYONE to have done that.  So all we, or any other nation can do, is flatten the curve, and ride this thing without completely destroying the economy. We need a better and more measured response.  It is increasingly amusing to hear people here talking about how the government should do this, and the government should do that (they are talking about the city and the state).  I hate to inform them, but the state and city of New York are struggling due to a lack of funds.  The tax base is drying up.  Further, I imagine we will see an exodus similar to what was seen post 2008, or perhaps even greater.  Without a robust economy, you cannot provide all the services you need to to the less fortunate.  I am not sure if a lot of people think money grows on trees, but I am increasingly getting the impression that peope really have no clue at all.

Further, the mask situation.  The rule here is that you wear a mask/face covering in public if you cannot maintain social distancing.  You should always have one on you in any case.  When I go on long walks with the dogs, my preference is not to wear a mask if I can AT ALL help it.  However, as my building requires one in common areas, I will wear one until I am in a much more open area (usually around 63rd street past 2nd avenue) where there are significantly less people.  I have had people yell at me for not wearing a mask when they are across the fucking street from me and there is no one withing 30 feet of me.  People need to mind their own fucking business and not be such cunts about things.  If you are so scared that of someone 30 fucking feet away from you, stay the fuck at home.

Ok, rant over.  For the TL/DR folks, I am fucking tired of stupid fucking people.

Unfortunately, people need to be motivated, and a lot of that starts at home.  So many kids have zero shot because their parents' either do not have the time or want/ability to invest the time with helping their children.  That is why programs like Big Brothers Big Sisters and nonprofit in school/after school programs are so vital.

Idiocracy is real.  It is WAY too fucking easy for some inbred idiot with zero means to have a passel full of kids, and yet, look at how difficult it is for well educated, well off families (either hetero or same sex) to adopt.  It is fucking bullshit.

Made from what I have in the house so piss off.  I made a half dozen in 20 minutes.

1 pipe cleaner
1 strip of duct tape
2 shop towels
2 rubber bands
1 office stapler

Two shop towels stop 93% of .03 micron, so an N93 rated homemade mask. 75bfef46805a4df532f4eff15b63987a.jpg

The 10 Most Annoying Types of People in the Pandemic

Personally I am most annoyed by:

THE “STAY HOME!” SCREAMERS | These eternal virtue signalers just yelled at someone in the supermarket for being only five and a half feet away, and they simply have to share that with their Facebook friends, to great acclaim. (“You tell ’em!”) They urge everyone to just stay home, even though they went out—and even though getting fresh air, sunlight, and food is actually a good idea, as long as you play by the rules. I get it–rule breaking is dangerous—but this self-righteous bunch would even post a highly populated still from a 1960s Beach Blanket movie and pretend it’s Rockaway Beach yesterday, just to make their point!

Dallas update:

“restaurants” opened up Friday for 25% capacity. Katy Trail Ice House had been doing takeout but opened up by removing tables for social distancing. Place was totally “full” yesterday at the new allowed amount, although the cops were called to check out things.

Today, seating is closed down. they have 79% sales alcohol. It’s technically a bar and cannot be open for seating. Back to takeout only. So that lasted all of two days.

Risking your health to eat a shit-quality, over-cooked steak at Chili's.   Awesome.

All that anger, all those protests, all those semi-automatic weapons, all those rage-fueled marches at the nation's myriad Capitol buildings, all the blocked traffic, for a fucking $9 steak at Chili's that they somehow still make a profit on?

Negatory.  If I'm going out to eat a steak, it's going to be a true steakhouse (and not during a pandemic, while infections are rising).  I don't eat at shitty chains, but you do you.

Mighty close to CR there lol, but I didn't read any of that post as being antigun. Moreso just concerned that several hundred people felt the need to bring weapons to a peaceful protest. Which is a pretty legitimate concern, especially when that group protesting has been using hard-line rhetoric for years.

Jesus fucking Christ, y'all are so sensitive to people having a different opinion. Get the fuck over it, it's ok to disagree. Disagreement doesn't immediately mean some over big bad political speech.

They’re performing fly overs in many cities, including Houston and dallas on Wednesday.  At least the blue angels are. They’re also flying all over the city so there is zero need to drive to a single spot to see them.

This.  They remind me of my tough guy wannabe acquaintances who think they are soooo badass at Call of Duty, therefore they are combat ready...

It’s really a WTF representation of the pro-gun crowd.   Something akin to potheads thinking Seth Rogan’s opinion is gonna persuade me to their side. FTR, I support legalization, but his commentary makes me want to rescind my support.  The gun dorks make me feel the same way.

I always include anti-gun bullshit all the fucking time?  Hyperbole much?  You sound a lot like a woman.  I merely observed some of the "open restaurants now" crowd brought weapons to peaceful protests which I found questionable.  I mentioned it in the buildup about everything these people did to get a shitty steak at Chili's.  It was supposed to be humorous but I forgot again that you don't have a sense of humor.  Wasn't the Seinfeld quote from the great anti-gun activist/bagelier, Kramer not your first indication the post was to be taken lightly?  I'm guessing you don't get the humor of Seinfeld though, you strike me more of a "Friends" kinda speed.

This is a make believe internet world here man, nothing is real.  I picked up on some gun-toting lovers of jalepeno poppers and extreme fajitas.  It wasn't a commentary on the 2A.  One of the two of us has actually testified before a legislative body in support of the 2A.  So IRL, I do more to protect your right to be whiney, bear arms, and be generally an overly-sensitive munchkin.  My opinion on the amendment is nuanced and I don't believe it gives blanket liberty to make bad dining decisions (the people in the photo) or to be completely devoid of a personality (you).

Maybe I'm being overly-optimistic, but I feel like enough of these reports have been circulated that I'm hearing way less from the "they're counting everything as a Covid death derp, derp" dumbass crowd. It's becoming pretty clear that, if anything, the deaths are being undercounted.

I'm much more likely to take people seriously who fully grasp the reality of the numbers but would like to start phasing open anyway (pretty much where I stand) than I am the ones who purposely minimize and distort this at every turn.

There is absolutely nothing political about suggesting that dipshits shouldn't carry weapons to protests--even if it's within their legal rights.

It completely overshadows whatever points they're trying to make, and pretty much unequivocally makes them all look like tools.

In the middle of an issue, data is rarely accurate. I think it's ok to be skeptical about the data and ask honest questions about what it tells us.

For example, people who are in nursing homes rarely leave so is this virus just spiking the death rate short term but will have only moderate impact on the numbers of deaths long term?

Data needs to be viewed over a longer period of time to draw true conclusions. "Undercount vs. Overcount" is just something people argue on Twitter.

Look, I don’t tote a gun around in public but I have more respect for someone boldly displaying their rights in public during a peaceful protest as opposed to wearing masks, running people over with vehicles,  looting, and burning shit down. These people aren’t as extreme as you want to make them out to be.
