Pop some real popcorn, not the microwave stuff, in a touch too much oil in the heaviest pot you have. Throw in a quarter stick of butter as soon as it starts to pop. Salt to taste. Takes care of the salt craving.

Use the Alton Brown method, it's super easy. only reason he doesn't use butter is because of burning the milk solids. Here he uses Ghee and in the show he used Peanut Oil but guessing Canola would work fine also...

This was a creepy AF way to end that post.

I chose to just ignore that weird ass shit.  We got enough weird ass shit right now, and I couldn't think of anything pithy at the moment, as I was reeling in disbelief at the words I was reading.

there are only a few things that (most) docs universally agree on:

  • they hate chiropractors - across the board
  • they hate dentists that are DDS and demand to be called Doctor
  • they hate podiatrists

Chiropractors - absolutely. True charlatans. Dentists calling themselves doctors? I don’t have a problem with. They’re mouth specialists and nobody else with an MD who isn’t OMFS has their expertise. And I love podiatrists. They are a key referral source for my large PAD/CLI volume.

Imagine have leaders being concerned with the lives of their citizens instead of turning a profit.

Imagine the multiplier of lives ruined by the shut down versus lives lost by the virus.   Caring about people’s wallets is still caring about their lives.  Most people don’t realize they have a life, even without the wallet.

to be fair most of the people i know who hate podiatrists are Orthos who are already worked up about them doing ankle surgeries and think that next thing is they will be doing knee replacements (which they won't...)

the funniest rant I have ever heard from a doc was in the OR in the middle of a surgery about a specific podiatrist.

I had a bud that dated then subsequently married a freaking crazy ass, lying bitch who somehow made it thru college, and obtained a PHD in geriatrics.  She used to walk around in a white lab coat with a stethoscope around her neck.... in public no less.  I really hated that freaking crazy ass, lying bitch.

Did she do ads for The Addiction Network?

Chiropractors should be regarded as therapists... like masseuses, nothing more. Labeling them as “doctors” has always been a stretch, IMO.

Having said that, I do derive a great benefit from having my back adjusted after throwing it “out”, or my neck popped to alleviate a certain kind of stiff neck headache. But that is about it.
I once knew a real quack chiropractor who claimed he could “cure” cancer. Nope nope nope.

life can never be turned back on now because risk will never be eliminated.

The end game has already been in play...

If they are going for elimination, then it looks to me like it’s not quite working. They are holding steady on daily new cases, which is much better than most other countries, but you need a decline if you want to eliminate it. Still, even if they were able to pull it off, then what? You keep your borders closed to the outside world until there’s a vaccine? Herd immunity or vaccine, those are the only two solutions.

Seriously Interesting but... Is your point that because milk was a relatively good source of nutrition for our ancestors that someone today should go to the store 3 or 4 times a week to buy it during a pandemic?

I'm bored and that sounds interesting. Got some links? I'd google myself but not even sure how to phrase the query.

Don't be stupid. Cow tits hurt if they aren't milked. Unless you don't have a problem with cruelty to animals maybe you should just chill on the milk hating.

You know, two years ago (2019), we were not talking about Shaka's remarkable run in the NCAA tournament just like we aren't today. So really, this virus hasn't changed anything.

It's one thing to CR the thread, but to Shaka it?

Have you no decency?

If you are going to take steps to eliminate it on your island, then yes,     completely shut your border until the vaccine comes.
