They did. It's fine for one game per year.

Yup.  The city of Dallas put a lot of money into it.  North and South upper decks are pretty nice, north and south concourses are a huge improvement.  Bathrooms still need work that's for sure though.

I'll bet Daniel is a die hard NFL fan and think Jerry World is a perfect football setting.

Probably, and I also bet he's never actually been to a TX-OU game at the Cotton Bowl.

Something doesn’t really need to be pristine for me to piss on it.

It has had money put into you dingleberry. About 60 million dollars. And it’s fine. It’s all about that was once good and true about college football. It’s about watching a game in an intimate setting and not all the stupid pussy creature comforts our douchebag wine and cheese crowd needs to half pay attention to a game. It’s 4 fucking hours in October and it’s perfect.

Attending a game at the Cotton Bowl is like going back in time to the 80s or earlier.  Sure there is some advertising, but it's nothing like the constant barrage we get at Memorial Stadium.  Every year I'm astonished at the contrast, it's so pleasant to go to a game at the CB, to hear a stadium announcer communicating minimally, with few advertisements, actually hearing the bands, hearing the cheerleaders.  It's astonishing.

Jerryworld is at the complete opposite end of the spectrum.  Forget that noise.

Daniel Espinoza seems like he sucks.

His question is idiotic for many reasons, but the thing that stuck out to me was the "small" comment about the Cotton Bowl.  It seats 92K, while Jerryworld only has actual seats for ~80K.  What a complete dumbass.

Daniel is very probably a lard ass who can't fit into the smaller concourses and seats at the Cotton Bowl.

Brandon is an imbecile.

He'd actually have a better argument for black uniforms if it was 20 years ago, because then he would have at least been on the cutting edge of an unfortunate trend instead of lagging behind it, years after it jumped the shark. (Still nowhere close to a good argument, but a better one.)

Tim should know better, by age and experience. https://texassports.com/sports/football/roster/timothy-cole/6519

But, as an advertising grad student, you can't call him dumb.  Kudos to him for making a life after football.

I'd really expect this from tshirt fans and teens.

Sorry dude. We had black uniforms over 50 years ago in high school.

Our colors were orange and black.

Yeah, special home uniforms are what caused the 2010's to be the second worst decade in Longhorn football history.

It falls almost exclusively on our complacency from top to bottom and the assertion because we are Texas, we will continue to be great at football.
