Did you seriously just post something and then go check to see if it was already posted after you posted it?

You know you did that backwards, right?  I mean obviously your only motivation is to troll this thread, but at least be less of a dummy about it.

Zavala is one of our least talented trolls. He’s got a bag full of gifs and memes, but really that’s about it.

I see he just posted another one above.

Cool. Am I asking too much by asking Pete to explain this?

https://twitter.com/Eat__The__Rich/status/1224827077037187072

Or is he just "consulting" . . .

Wait, so is he not supposed to strategize with the current rules in order win so he could change the rules in the future? Let's go ahead and win the popular vote and lose the electoral college again. That'll show 'em.

FFS, it's incredible how Buttigieg has basically broken Rose Twitter's brain. If they can't handle Pete, how are they gonna handle Trump?

I don't think they're claiming conspiracy or expecting Pete to concede, it's just a jab. :)

Looking forward to the full count.

#BernieWon

I actually wouldn't mind seeing that happen.

Buttigeg claims "victorious" results based on his campaign's internal numbers regarding delegates: "You rat faced fucking piece of shit! Fucking cheater! Pete paid for the app to rig the caucus!"

Buttigieg has slim lead in delegates with 62% of results in : "Fucking rat! Fucking cheater!"

Bernie ends up winning the delegates: "HAHAHAHAHAHA fuck you, rat! I fucking knew it. Bernie won!"

Twitter, man.

2016 Iowa had similar issues.

Bernie has the progressive lane. Pete v. Warren will be a spirited battle for the center right lane. Bloomberg coming in hot in the far right lane (autocratic like Trump). And Biden is stranded in the middle of nowhere looking for a pay phone.

I am rooting for Warren to beat out Pete for the center right lane.

Oh, and . . .

Congratulations Incredulity, you won the argument.  When they don't have an actual answer for your question and instead reply like this you won the argument.  Just take a knee, run out the clock, and prepare for the Gatorade bath.

I mean, I'm not for stop and frisk and racial profiling, nor am I a fan of misogyny. But considering what's in office and how fucked up things are right now, putting forth the idea that this guy pulls a Finish Him to the democratic party from the inside doesn't even register as the craziest thing we've seen politically in the last 2 weeks.

Good luck getting the Sanders/Warren faction of your party to back a billionaire running for president.  He's the same guy that faction thinks should be footing the bill for universal health care, free college, and free housing for everyone.  You are basically asking mosquitoes to support DDT.

Thinking more about Biden's possibly low number of 13-14% in Iowa...imagine how shitty that number would be if he wasn't considered the "favorite" by punditry and national polls.

His whole candidacy is perceived electability. And he's going to finish a distant 4th (maybe 5th) in Iowa. The guy has been a complete campaigning disaster in his previous presidential runs as well.

What the fuck are we doing?

You are trying to defeat Trump instead of trying to win the office of the presidency.

Can you take another 4 years before Bernie finally gets over the hump?

Me personally? Absolutely.

But thousands and thousands of Americans will die for lack of healthcare.

Thousands of families will be destroyed by medical and student loan debt.

Hundreds of troops will die in bravado wars.

On the plus side, though, the libs will be owned.

So, worth it!!! #MAGA

Phonebank, canvas. Talk to human beings and you'll see this fracturing that we do is almost 100% self-service.

basket of deplorables didn't work in 2016. It's not going to work in 2020

You are 100% correct.  There is also no way anyone that matters on your side of the political aisle is going to pay one bit of attention to this.

There's a lot more, of course, like the rapidly accelerating pace of destructive climate change that you likely also don't believe in or think we cannot impact so fuck it.

Nope. I've got actual studies and statistics.

The right is just fucking stupid and believe in FEMA coffins outside Wal-Mart  because that's what they're told to think by the dumbest and most corrupt media figures stuck remora-like to the asses of the dumbest and most corrupt politicians.

Pick a side and be honest about who you are and what you're doing.

Pete shot his wad in Iowa and hopefully this is the peak of his campaign.  Even though I support Warren, I'm cool with Bernie, but Pete sold out as a centrist bore and would lose bigly to Trump.

Many won't admit that what they see as a liability in Sanders somewhat mirrors a liability in Pete.  Right or wrong (it's stupid and wrong), Sander's ties to socialism makes him a liability in more conservative parts of the country who will happily vote against their interests.  Right or wrong (it's stupid and wrong), Pete's sexuality will make him a liability in more conservative parts of the country who will happily vote against their interests for Jesus.

Bernie is at least worth the risk as a real agent of change in our nation.  The juice is worth the squeeze.  Pete had a big chance to be that too but he flinched and backtracked. I can't imagine Pete inspiring people risking another term of Donald Trump by saying "I will bring us back to 2015, where we kind of just played with the ball but didn't move it any direction."

I picked the side that refuses to live everyday like it is a death sentence because the politician I don't agree with is in office. I can't just disagree with the ass, I have to act like the world will end every day. No need to be a political prepper. That's about as honest as one can get, in 2020.

Could you cite something a little more recent than 2009, you know after the ACA and all the bullshit changes? Before you start killing off 45000 people.

You said bravado wars, not suicides. The VA needs to get it's shit together. But, words still matter.

I have no problem opening up Medicare, but private insurance should still be an option.

What I'm doing is enjoying the political circus that some folks can't live without because it will kill them.

Uninsured rates fell nicely for a few years, but they are recovering. Let's call 14.5M uninsured in 2009 leading to 45k deaths OK? What is 9M uninsured in 2018 leading to? 28k.

Better?

How about the family-destroying bankruptcies?

Neither of these is true.

I totally understand if you prefer Bernie, but Pete has been consistent from Day 1 of his candidacy. I think a lot of people never really paid close attention to him and just bought into the narrative from the left. Some of his policies are clearly more moderate than Bernie and Warren, and they've always been like that.

BT just because I don't post as much doesn't mean I don't read the CR. Your shit stays emotional and fact less. I enjoy the entertainment though.

Yes better. And without all the hyperbole.

Take the county, state hospitals/clinics and make a network out of it. People can buy in and the neediest get it for free.

I don't know why they kill themselves but are you sure it's because of bravado wars or just something about our society?

Quote

In 2017, the highest suicide rate (20.2) was among adults between 45 and 54 years of age. The second highest rate (20.1) occurred in those 85 years or older.

How many in that age range are in the military?

From your link "The report maintains that, adjusting for age and gender, the military’s rate is roughly the same as American society"

So who is using emotional rhetoric and zero reasoning or facts?

Meh, I don't waste my time owning the Libs, anymore. It's too depressing.

The state of Iowa and the caucus process itself is tailor made for Pete. No close seconds... he needs to place first at the end of counting or he's in some real trouble going forward. It's all uphill from here.

For opposite reasons, Biden's demise is being greatly exaggerated. He should still be the favorite to win the nomination. Unfortunately for him, this result doesn't make him look good as the eventual nominee. A fourth place finish in IA shouldn't give anyone confidence that he can win back the Midwest/Rust Belt.

I don't buy arguments that this was a disappointing night for Bernie. The progressive vote is being split between him and Warren, and he should do even better than Liz in states that aren't so white. I expect him to win once the vote is fully counted. Only haters can see any downside in placing first against this crowded a field.

As for Liz, I was disappointed at first but I'm coming around to thinking the night was a decent showing for her. She should get a bump from the last third left to count.

Klob, Yang, and the others who campaigned in Iowa should drop out. It's a four person race, with Bloomberg replacing Pete by Super Tuesday.

So you're acknowledging that tens of thousands of Americans die every year due to lack of access to healthcare? I appreciate that.

How about the family-destroying bankruptcies due to medical and student debt?

They kill themselves because of emotional stress and pain. But it's not just suicides, soldiers die constantly overseas in wars and missions that have nothing to do with protecting our nation and are out there because our civilian leadership (Democratic and Republican) need to show the world how tough they are.

(And the hundreds of thousands of people we kill, but that's probably immaterial to lib-owners.)

And... what? What's your point? The fact that civilians kill themselves for some reasons means that there aren't soldiers killing themselves for PTSD or service-related stress reasons?

Those deaths don't count?

And then had to change them to meet your goals. Bravado wars became suicides.

If you want to wipe out medical debt, I'm open if it actually makes sense. But F student debt. I had to pay mine back, you pay yours back. If that means slinging coffee or shoveling shit because you were too lazy to finish or that 'Gender Studies' degree isn't paying off. So be it. We can make allowances for medical/economic hardships. Even come up with a work program.

I'm in agreement with you on the endless wars and missions. We do need to pull back. I'm ok with a little isolationism. Are you?

The fact was that you changed the scope of your argument, but we'll overlook that.
