Please Arizona..... Don't pick Kyler.  If he falls 10-15 spots it would be Epic...... Like Aaron Rodgers and Brady Quinn drafts!!

Yeah. Nothing against Kyler really, but 5'10" QBs who made their living by forcing defenses to collapse in because of their running threat haven't panned out too well in the NFL.  Especially those who clinch up after getting hit. Manziel 2.0.

Murray ran for 1000 yards last year. Kingsbury ran for -114 in his senior year. This ain't the air raid QB Kliff is looking for.  This is a guy that beat college DEs and LBs to the corner, forcing college DBs to creep up and leave WRs open. The NFL is a faster game.

I'm not insanely biased. This board is not here for sooners or aggies to talk shit.
We welcome discussion from anyone. Shit talking doesn't last on anyone else's board. It shouldn't last here, either. Fuck Greg Focker. Mouth breathing fuckstick. I'm sure he can barely even spell "OU."

I'm gonna go ahead and say you've never seen Kyler Murray play. He wasn't even this guy in HS.

If he weren't a bitch, pussy, and 5'9-5'10 with t-rex arms, then he'd have no doubts about his future potential. He'd be pretty dangerous even if he didn't run a 4.3-4.4.

The "Gatsby" line came from his agent and handlers, trying to come up with a reason why an ewok would show up to the Draft Day show wearing a pink suit with a $4500 price tag on the sleeve.

At least they got the tag off. Bright side, and all.

Made the right choice financially. Would have taken him years, a lot of development, and even more luck to earn that in baseball.

Not to mention even if he flames out in fb, someone will give him another couple million to try bb anyway.

It worked out for him, certainly - good for him. That doesn't mean that it was wise to even play football last fall with $4+ million guaranteed in baseball. The odds last summer that he would avoid injury, win the Heisman and go 1-1 weren't great. It was very improbable.

Now, after the season he had, the decision made sense.

This may well be true, but (a) it's not information I wish to have and (b) you might want to rethink announcing the comparison.

What about how big his hands would look holding Murray's dick?

that doesn't seem likely, he'd be in his late 20s

By flames out I mean he is out of the league in 2-3 years.  I still think a bb team would sign him to a decent contract at that point.

Geez... Last time I checked surly was a place you could make fun of kylers tiny little midget hands in a self deprecating manner (I mean look how gigantic that football looks in his hands). I must have stumbled onto a different site.

Noted.

Apparently insufficiently self-deprecating?

How's about, oh, I dunno, maybe...

Lots of sand in Arizona. Looks like it’s in the vagina early on

They give him a Men’s 8, rather than his usual Boy’s 8. Gave him blisters.

Local sports radio here in Phoenix-metro is refreshingly not terrible.

The consensus seems to be that, while acknowledging the Kingsbury/Murray deal is a huge experiment and could blow up spectacularly, Murray is gonna put a jolt in the fan base and will likely succeed in the NFL.

Personally, I'm hoping Kingsbury wrecks shop and changes the way the game is played throughout the league.  As long as I've been watching football, innovation tends to happen at the collegiate level and then eventually makes its way up to the pro's.  I swear, the NFL makes Ronald Reagan look like a utopia-hyping progressive, they're so damned paralyzed by conservative mindset.

Whether he can accomplish that with Murray is intriguing.  He's supremely talented, but he's significantly shorter than 5-10 and he doesn't have leadership/alpha personality that a guy like Mayfield has.

Whatever, it'll be fun to watch.
