I’ve got my now 40k shares at a GTC of $50 so they can’t be borrowed.

True, but a company like IBRX could hit it big, flounder in testing purgatory, or go out of business.  Two of those paths won't surpass NVDA returns.  Let's hope for the change-the-world cancer cure.

Most stocks in that price range run because they need to dump more shares (dilution). Typically, they are out of money and generate momentum to get people to buy, thinking it’s going to the moon. I don’t know any specifics on this particular ticker.

And speaking of stonks, I see CVNA is up 20% after their earnings release. If the after hours move holds up, they will open up tomorrow with a market cap approximately the same size as GM (and larger than Ford). They made $140M in profit this quarter. GM just reported $3B in profit. How many fucking cars do people expect them to sell at a 4% margin in the future to justify that valuation? But Ive been thinking that about CVNA for a while now, and it shows no signs of sanity returning. Will be up about 25X in the last year and a half.

I own CYBL. It had been tagged with the caveat emptor label for a while. When that got lifted it ran up to about .01. Then they announced a $22 million contract with the government, and it ran up to .02.  It has since settled back to around a penny. Hopefully they get a few more contracts, and it goes on another run. I’m in for 300,000 shares at .002 so nothing major, but it’s nice to be in the green again.

Last Friday premarket, Energy Fuels (UUUU) reported a miss with Q3 earnings and the stock dropped from $6.05 to a low Monday of $5.36.   UUUU has recovered currently trading at $6.28.  UUUU continues to actively expand their facilities increasing capacity to produce more uranium, rare earths, and medical Isotopes in 2025 while sitting on supplies of finished uranium and vanadium waiting for uranium prices to go up. They have plenty of cash ($1.21/sh, $234 million) and no debt.

Yesterday, EOSE reported a miss with Q3 earnings due to temporary supply chain issues and the stock dropped from $3.20 to $2.26.  EOSE has recovered some currently trading at $2.85 (blessed are the dip buyers).  No one expected them to be profitable yet.  This is a 2025 story.

Also read some of PSS' comments about a trial they did on folks with elevated PSA levels....6 weeks in and PSA levels were dropping to near zero.   They get a full trial and approval for that.....

Fuckkk. I bought a buy-write on SMCI when it got destroyed from news report of accounting irregularity. 

Got in at $23 on the stock, sold covered call at $26 strike expiring this week for $2.74 premium, so max profit is ((26-23)+2.74) = $5.74 per share

Fucking SMCI blasted to $38 today. Profit could have been $15 per share. 😫

Black Mass To Rescue EV Battery Supply Chain

 
The EV battery supply chain has been quite a headache for automakers. The materials that go into EV batteries are mined from the Earth, dragging the heavy baggage of environmental and cultural destruction as well as human rights abuses and conflict issues. Recycling provides at least a partial solution, if only recyclers could figure out an economical way to extract cobalt, nickel, manganese, and lithium from spent batteries…oh, wait, here comes black mass.
 

EV Battery Recycling & Black Mass

CleanTechnica’s Jo Borras spotted the black mass angle last year, when he featured the Canadian EV battery recycling startup RecycLiCo in a pair of articles. The idea is to strip out the plastics, aluminum, and other non-essential materials from an EV battery and render the remainder into a shiny, metallic powder, which for lack of a better name is commonly referred to as black mass. Not to be confused with another product of EV battery recycling called black powder, black mass contains cobalt, nickel, manganese, and lithium.

The next step is to extract the valuable materials and use them to make cathodes for new EV batteries. As described by Borras, the process enables RecycLiCo to recover almost all of the cobalt, nickel, and manganese for recycling into cathode active material for new EV batteries. Lithium is also recovered in the process.

When the topic of recycling comes up, the big question is whether or not second-use applications perform as well as virgin materials. RecycLiCo has the answer: yes. Independent tests confirm that lithium-ion battery cells made with RecycLiCo’s high performance materials matched the performance of cells made with virgin materials on purity and other key parameters.

Black Mass Is On The Move

As of last year RecycLiCo had a demonstration facility to its credit. The company was also working towards a full-scale EV battery recycling facility in Taiwan with Zenith Chemical Corporation, and it has not let the grass grow under its feet.

In July of this year, the company announced that its Stage 1 shredding facility at the Taiwan site was already up and running in June. In August, they also announced that the Taiwan venture reached a key milestone in the design phase, leading to the start of construction within the next several months.

Meanwhile, in July the company was awarded a European patent for its EV battery recycling system, joining the US, South Korea, Japan, China, India, Australia, and Canada for a total of 16 global patents in all.

Its so thinly traded I wouldn't read much into it. For the month of November, there's been approx 3.5M shares traded with a total transaction volume of ~$260K. Even for a conpany with  a market cap of $30M thats basically noise.
