i might throw world war z in there.  i don't love zombie movies and hate horror movies, but this kinda straddles the line.

I feel the same way. I’m not deep into zombie knowledge, and don’t dig horror. But seeing Zeke having the ability to run really fucking fast for the first time was a neat twist. And like you, I feel it straddles the line between the genres really well.

Not to mention what they could have done with the water version of Zeke. That was the most intense part of the book.

Binge watching King of the Hill on Hulu. So damned good.

Dale never did figure out why Joseph looked so much like John Redcorn.  On the upside, the Gribbles would be well fixed for quarantine.  Such a great series - bravo, Mike Judge.

Wife didn’t make it through 30 minutes of ‘Lawrence’.   In fact, I passed out about 45 minutes after the intermission due to being over-ginned

The wife was told by one of her friends she should start watching The Handmaid's tale. She wants me to watch with her.
Thoughts?

Fuck no. It’s infuriating. Bad decisions on top of bad decisions by the lead character. Women love the show though.

Stumbled across this on YouTube. Pretty intense. Fair warning, this is a recording of military radio and there's a lot of annoying sounds.

Some of my all-time favorite YouTube channels

Drachinifel -  all things naval hsitory

Forgotten Weapons - really awesome firearms channel, covers extremely rare firearms that he gets access to (he gets invited to auctions, etc.)

The History Guy: History Deserves to be Remembered - really cool and varied, but surprisingly deep dives on various topics, usually under 15 minutes

First season is good, then it got annoying pretty quickly. I quit part way through season 3, and I rarely quit shows mid-season.

The source material is probably good for 2-3 seasons tops, but Hulu seems intent drag it out as long as possible. It's the same problem The Walking Dead faced.

My son decided he wanted to binge Lost during the quarantine. We just watched "Through the Looking Glass" and his mind is blown.

do we have a list (or can we start one) of all the movies rushed to on-demand during the quarantine?

-onward

-the invisible man

-the hunt

-bloodshot

also the gentlemen just hit dvd (seems fast).  for any of the pirates out there, this list is important even if the suggested retail price is $20.

anything else?

Agreed. I obviously remembered the major plot twist at the end, but there were several other things in that episode I had forgotten about.

Yes. What would your top 5 episodes to watch of Lost be?  Would be a good time killer.

Do you like getting kicked in the bits?  Repeatedly?  For an hour?  If so, go for it. I’d rather go lick every surface at the grocery store right now than watch that torture porn again.

edit - Siri corrected nuts to bits.  Close enough.

Finished Clone Wars and Rebels and am current with new season of CW.

Had never had much interest in either series prior to watching Mandalorian - I thoroughly enjoyed both and them and offer up that an argument could me made for Ezra being the number one seed in a Jedi draft.

We are currently working our way through Agent Carter and will then go back to Agents of Shield since we’ve only watched one season.

(I have 12, 10, and 9yr old girls)

It’d be nice if espn went ahead and ran that Bulls doc instead of waiting until June.

I guess they listened to me.  Moved up to 4/19.

Also, Killing Eve was moved up to 4/12.

The kid and I finished Lost. The ending is much better than I remembered. There was disappointment at the time, because we all had our insane theories of how it would end. If you just watch and enjoy it, it does make for a nice story.

We're on to Friday Night Lights now. Watched the first two episodes tonight and my son is hooked. In other news, I need a first-string rally girl.
