All he's gotta do is say he won't veto progressive legislation and I'm in that booth for him no problem.

The narrow path of righteously awesome righteousness of bubbly rightness you and your broseph brethren are on leads to one Supreme Court justice who is very similar to Jim Baker and another who is exactly like Jim Baker's survival toilet.  Those shit pipes will flow two ways.  Thank you for your existence.

I love riddles.

I guess;

I will never vote for Donald Trump, don't be silly. :)

That wasn't his question.  You will inevitably be helping to re-elect Trump.  But your moral superiority will remain intact, and that's what's important, except for the possibility that you might have spent what could be the last free election jacking off into a gym sock.

Sheila Jackson Lee or Corinne Brown for the lulz.

Great avatar.  No matter how many times I watch I can't help but wince at that backside pursuit and thank all that is holy they didn't roll out to the wide side.

To state the obvious, not voting for the dem nominee is helping to re-elect Trump.

That's horseshit.

My presidential vote is immaterial as a Texan and, even if Texas were a swing state, a non-vote is a non-vote. It no more helps Trump by not going to Biden than it helps Biden by not going to Trump.

How is a left-winger's non-vote helping Trump? Biden has openly declared himself hostile to what I want as a voter. I don't even need him to champion my causes, all I need is for him to say he won't actively thwart us if we work our asses off.

Joe Biden does not represent my politics. He is a liar and a fool who will nominate a new Brett Kavanaugh and call it a bipartisan victory. He will cut Social Security and praise his sober realism. He has no record as a legislator that appeals to me as a progressive and he is where he is now because he was chosen as VP specifically because he was racist and conservative enough to allay fears about Barack Obama's socialist blackness.

He sucks 10 miles of shit and I'll STILL vote for him if he says he won't veto progressive legislation. I know you guys are desperate to get hysterical, but no one can rationally argue that my standard there is unreasonable.

The fact that you have to get this hysterical belies the lack of intellectual discipline in your analysis.

I think both Klobs and Kamala think they are on the short list. Klobuchar is probably too similar to Biden (Harris may be as well), but at least she offers a geographic balance and demographic difference. And Joe apparently had an affinity for her during her time as AG working with Beau. He can look past the first debate.

You trying to ram your head through a keyhole to disrupt the world of any candidate who aligns with you 80% of the way in favor of someone who would smear your progressive wishes into a short brown streak on a bathroom stall makes me question my intellectual discipline for even engaging you.  And, nah, we haven't heard any sinister language like that come from Trump or witnessed an odd state of complete capitulation to a gangster who just extended his leadership through 2036.  You're way too smart.

Stacey Abrams is a state legislator who lost a race for governor.  She’s not going to be the VP.

I would bet on the Michigan governor unless she has serious skeletons in the closet.

Abrams lost in Georgia, a red state and voter suppression was the reason. I think she will be the VP nominee.

This was the only thing that could prevent Biden from winning the nomination. And it’s not going to do that. Biden looks calm, credible, and competent.

I wouldn’t be surprised to see Sanders drop out tomorrow.

Biden playing prevent defense all night was the right strategy. Just don't say anything stupid and try not to embarrass Bernie or his supporters.

I'd bet on Wed or Thurs after he loses more ground on Tues.

This is definitely the bottom of the 9th for Bernie and he needs a miracle to force extra innings or it's over.

This is horseshit. Yes, Texas will probably go for Trump in the end, but it will be close.  Trump is very unlikable, and in 2018 a very unlikable Ted Cruz was a hairline away from losing Texas. This is not 2016 where people thought "Trump might start acting presidential after he's elected." People know exactly who he is.  There is no Clinton on the ballot this time.  Trump losing Texas is not an impossibility.

You may not want to vote for Joe Biden, but you should absolutely vote against Donald Trump.  RBG is not likely to live through another presidency, and claiming Biden will nominate another Kavanaugh is flat out bullshit and you justifying your non-vote out of pettiness and your pouting that your preferred candidate isn't winning.

I can't remember if it was you, but I've heard it argued on this board countless times that Bernie people not voting for Clinton in 2016 was largely a myth.  And yet here you are proving them correct.

You also said not long ago that as long as a Democrat went to the convention with a plurality of votes and they won fair and square and weren't cheated, you would vote for that person.  Of course, that was before Super Tuesday when Bernie was leading in votes and delegates.  Now you're adding extra qualifiers.  Stop it.  I like you as a poster, but quit being a bad teammate.  Vote for the Democrat.

You can do a better job countering those lies in the media.

That’s a whole lot to words to say I'll vote for Biden so long as he make a very specific promise that only matters to me personally.

I dunno, maybe Joe Biden will issue a statement that says, I will promise to abide by Bad Teamates agenda on surly horns and not veto whatever it is he supports and so I hope I got his vote.

Would that do it for you?

Hugo hasn’t melted down at all and has faded into the background for the most part., BT’s reaction to Bernie losing has been off the chart irrational. I like Bernie and don’t necessarily like Biden, but I want trump gone. That’s all I care about. He needs to be gone.

Joe said he would veto M4A. No one here honestly believed he would ever say that, but here we are. It's not unreasonable to demand a retraction on that.

Saying he will veto progressive legislation is unacceptable and isn't just some minor thing.

Joe has a terrible history and is a terrible candidate. That's why none of you wanted him a few weeks ago and you still don't even want him now. The fundamentals haven't changed at all.

We have decades of actual history here and y'all want to throw all that out and just believe the sales pitch.

Biden needs to be hounded left for this entire primary or else he's just going to revert to his historical mean.

Do you imagine this #unity strategy helps the cause?
