I've raised the Landry question before.  Yes, there's been the occasional photo of him in the media guide, and I appreciate that he'll be in the Texas Athletics Hall of Fame.  But having Tom Landry as a Longhorn alumn is a big fucking deal, and I've always wondered why he isn't given more publicity as a Longhorn legend.

A side note but does anyone know if his pic as an intramural boxing champ still resides in Gregory?  IIRC there was a wall outside of the weight rooms in Gregory where pics of all of the past IM champs hung (this was in the 1st half of the 1980s when I roamed the 40); at the time I didn't know Landry was a 'Horn but I happened to glance over and there's no way to miss that face.

That stadium would have a capacity of like a 120,000 we would never fill that thing. College football attendance is going down across the board adding even more seats is the last thing we need todo.

Maracanaga del Norte that is.

where is The Dan Brown Family Player Development Center located and does it replace that shitty bubble?

I posted it here somewhere, but the bubble replacement hasn't been proposed yet.

It's the indoor baseball pitching lab right next to the Disch.

Fenves pretty much already told PETA to fuck off - Bevo’s staying.
As he should. That is one pampered bovine..gets his own team of assistants and field level access to every home game and some away. Doing better than I am..

If this thing goes through, Ousucks will have a better overall stadium than us. What a fucked up world that would be! This is so ugly, I bet the designer was aggy.

Architects arent artists anymore. They manage specialists in different trades and cobble together a patternless mash of masonry, CWS, and shitty metal panels. It's pretty sad.

Depends on the brief and the budget. If you wanted to make the SEZ look like the original Soldier Field, AND have all those modern amenities, it would be astronomically expensive.

Well, isn't an architect just an art school drop-out with a tilty desk, and a big ruler?

You know, the stupidest guy in my fraternity became an architect - after he flunked out of dental school!

So you didn't go to Texas?

They accept like 2 transfers into the architecture school a year I believe.

Zavala, you a city-planner? Why limit yourself to just one building?

I like how this will look from the sky...Doesn't pop out from this angle in the rendering.

I'm actually starting to like the design of this thing.

Is the aggy hall balsa wood and glue?

Refrigerator box. With all their trophies inside, there’s still plenty of extra room for a homeless guy.

Fuck the haters, this will be incredible.

I agree, ever since I first saw it sometime back in a survey regarding what people were willing to pay for south end zone seating I liked it.

Usually architectural renderings don't have people in them.  This one is SRO.
