Why is LONGHORNS not centered?  And why is the field striped for 105 yards?

You're either bad at trolling or you couldn't take the time to read 20 posts up. Be better.

Well, yeah, because our color is unique, a decidedly non-standard combo of orange and brown, and has changed over time, as opposed to "red" or "yellow".

Harvard does get neurotic about their crimson, but that's mostly because it's not what you'd usually think crimson is, like OU or Bama.

It also wasn't really a thing until we started regularly fucking the color up everywhere. Been to the Co-op recently? There used to be burnt orange in there.

It has come to my attention that none of y'all have a single fucking clue what kind of rap music the players these days listen to.

There's still rap music out there these days?

Per my buddy with intimate knowledge of the SEZ lighting project:

  • "You NEED to be there to see it in person." Says it's the coolest thing he's seen in 30 years in the industry.
  • Texas spent 18 months interviewing suppliers to guarantee that lights spec'd would be truly burnt orange. This wasn't limited to "show us a sample", think tours of manufacturing facilities.
  • Original SEZ lighting package bid was about $2.4mm. Is now $3+mm

Cool so lightning and new field color won’t match jerseys. Thanks a lot CDC.

They need to work faster to get things finished. Especially the hash marks. I can feel an ischemic stroke building up if I look at the picture for too long.

Perhaps CDC can find new ways to motivate them.

All CDC has to do is make the spacing between L, O, N, G, and H match the spacing between H, O R N and S. That would center it perfectly.

He's on it.  I saw him out there with his measuring tape.

I’m sure Oregon is having this same problem, nothing Nike can do right.
Yeah, I'm sure they'll only have 8 different uni's instead of 12

Somewhere an Aggie is laughing that we put Texas upside down in one of our end zones.

Well, most of those turds always sat on the east side of the stands, so they saw everything including the Bevo logo upside down.

So I realized that since Longhorns is a 9 letter word with H as the fifth letter, the center of the word is the symmetrical axis of the H. In this photo, that axis appears to already be in alignment with the hashes and the midfield logo, but not aligned with the SEZ outline entrance, nor does the word itself appear to be centered between oob lines of the end zone.

I am aghast.

Zooming in now, it looks like the “LONG” isn’t done while the “HORNS” is so I see how that will work after they stretch those letters over.  Feeling my fingers again

I was never that upset by the letters touching each other in the endzone, but now that they don’t I realize what we’ve been missing this entire time.

I'm sure it will be a key factor in our next championship run.
