I haven’t bought parking passes since I moved from Austin 7 years ago, but went back in this year. Do they still send you pieces of cardboard or is there some kind of scan system? I’m going to make 5 games this year but probably sell the other 2…

They sent the cardboard “booklet” last year, and said they will be mailed out again for this season.

I don’t think that is right, in the time slot email this was one of the last bullets.

I was hoping to add an extra pair this season, but there weren't any close by that were together.  But I did manage to add a single seat directly behind the row of my current 2 seats.  So now I have 3 total.

I'm a little concerned about how difficult the single seat will be to sell on games where I can't attend--does anyone have experience with selling a single seat ticket for games?  It's a decent sent-- lower level about 15 rows up on the 30, east side.

I think it’ll definitely be more difficult to sell the single ticket. I used to have a single seat next to some friends. We each had one. Buying a second has increased how much I can sell each for. I’d often have to price the seats at the bottom of the market

I order parking for my ticket group  Fortunately for me, I live downtown so I walk or ride a bike to games and don't have to deal with the parking garage bullshit. Or pay for it...$305 this year (San Jacinto lot). Yeesh.

Also, we're gonna have an extra in our season tickets this year (due to a family member who can't attend due to health reasons). Exploring options to offload it. It's a single, so not ideal for selling third-party, but we're in prime seats (lower west side, 45 yard line, row in the 20s).

So I was just playing around with numbers on the relative value of each game. For a theoretical total price of $1000 (it's actually more than that) this is what I roughly got. Could probably jack up the UGA game and practically pay for the rest of the season based on current listings on third-party sites. Curious what others thought.

Total 100.00% $1,000.00
CSU 9.00% $90.00
UTSA 7.00% $70.00
ULM 7.00% $70.00
MSU 15.00% $150.00
UGA 31.00% $310.00
UF 16.00% $160.00
UK 15.00% $150.00

You don’t want the dude willing to pay $70 for a UTSA single anywhere within 5  rows….

this was the first year since the MBTF era that there was zero movement of seats in my section and the two surrounding sections during seat selection. was planning to add another pair to get to six, but nope.

Yeah, by a very wide margin this is the fewest options I’ve seen available since they went to online selection….

Maybe give to the Texas exes and they can sell it on game day. That’s where I have gone to get my tickets on game day. (If you haven’t sold by then)

FYI for those who did not get season tickets and are unable to get Michigan tickets. I signed up, I did the same when Texas played at USC that year and was able to get some for a good price. But that’s USC and this is Michigan so who knows. Their tickets go on sale in June for multiple games with one being Texas and for single game tickets they go on sale in July.

Are any of you guys that are able to access the parking/seating site able to see and post the parking prices? I can't find them anywhere on the site and the guy that buys my parking passes wants to know the prices.

Interestingly enough, some tickets did slip through without being renewed. I imagine most of these were reclaimed from people identified as resellers earlier in spring. I was surprised, but i’ll take what I can get next week and try to move up next year with another excellence fund donation.

I’ll probably buy also, any idea if I up my seat donation I might get a chance at OU tickets or has that ship sailed?

I think every season ticket holder who has requested them has gotten OU tickets since they expanded the Cotton Bowl…

I got them last year, just had to wait until like August before they offered.

You have to donate at least $500 now to qualify for priority OU tix. But yes, many below that threshold will get an email about OU tix in August. Just pay attention though, as I got mine about 2 hours before my window and missed it. Upped my donation this year to avoid that shit.

I don't mind the wait.  When the demand is there, they will sell out.  We're not there yet.

Nice! I was able to get the two I wanted as well. Felt like sliding one past the goalie after the initial no.

June 25th. Last year when I was a couple hours late for my selection, I got an email with my seats before I had picked. Seats were fine so it worked out but was a bit weird.

June 24th for me, the bottom of the email this year confirms your experience.

If you do not select your seats within an hour of your appointment time, Texas Athletics will fill your order using your location last year as a guideline. You may miss some of your priority by not selecting seats at your specified timeslot as other people will be selecting seats.”

Cool, that makes sense, but last year the email only said they would select them the morning of the next day and nothing about an hour time limit.

Glad they cleaned up the language.

7/16. There were no lower levels by the time it was my turn last year, but I did get really good seats on about the 40 yard line, third row upper deck.

July 17 here. Was hoping for lower deck under the overhang, but low row upper deck that is on better than the 20 yard line would be fine.

Mine still says the next day:

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

If you do not select your seats on the day of your appointment time, Texas Athletics will fill your order the following business day before 10 a.m. using your location last year as a guideline. You may miss some of your priority by not selecting seats at your specified timeslot as other people will be selecting seats.

I'm July 17th, so I guess you high rollers in June have to choose within an hour while us poors in July get the whole day.

Question for those who've sold individual game tickets on SeatGeek before. I have a few games I need to get rid of, but when I went on my account, it's not possible to choose the tickets to sell on SeatGeek (the box to click is greyed out and not allowing me to select). However, on SeatGeek, there's plenty of tickets already for sale for all of the games this season.

Sell them here on Surly. Nearly a guarantee they get picked up.

Season tickets aren't in your account yet to sell on SeatGeek or otherwise transfer.  They usually hit your account in mid-August.

So all the seats there are just people who manually entered rather than going through the actual Texassports.com website? I’ve had season tickets for a few years but never had a reason to list for sale.

Yeah, because you can go ahead and list/sell them now and just not deliver them until mid-August when they show up in your account. Makes sense if there are games you know you’re selling because the price will inevitably drop between now and then and some point…

Picked my OU seats today at noon - upper level around 25 yard line (section 127). For those yet to go, the only lower level left are directly behind the end zone. There were still a good amount of yard-line upper deck available.

shade side upper level is at about the 10 yard line(sec 109).  my slot was 2:20 today.  took section 110 to get a little lower.  I don't mind the EZ view but it is such a clusterfuck there
