I fucked up and didn’t stock up. I’ve got peach schnapps, three rose hard ciders and a bottle of two year old korbel.

Ha, that sounds like what I'd drink in HS when the parents left and locked the liquor cabinet and I had to scrounge for whatever was left out.

The gym will be there tomorrow. How many election days are there that interest you this much.

Yeah, this is not how it works for me. There is going to be damn near nothing for me tomorrow, I expect to be completely non-functional.

Cruz won by 2.6.  Even if you think there 1M more votes out there for Trump than there were in 2016, this turnout still favors Biden.

This turnout favors MJ Hegar at this point.

Might try to go run out some of the booze but that's a stretch goal.

CNN Exit poll 48% of voters say Corona handling going well....damn

I'm surprised it's not higher.  Early and mail vote totals means exit polls are going to be Trumpistan skewed crap.

I’m impressed that you can make a growler last 6 hours!

The secret is to leave enough in the bottom to make Mrs. Ghost think it lasted 6 hours. Beer fridge stash fills the gaps. And I've got Redbreast 12 on the ready should they make the call before midnight.

Exit polls mean even less than normal this time.

You can direct all of your applause to Lina Hidalgo.

Your poor mom is going to be EXHAUSTED.   We need to send over a case of Vitamin Water or something.

I'm here.  Biding my time till I can kick back, have a drink, and pray like hell that all my fears are for naught.  Just like I waited for Texas to let Leinart march down the field and score at the end in 05.  Didn't breathe till the clock said 00:00.

I'm not even a Texas fan and that game almost stopped my heart. I feel the same way right now, but quietly confident at the same time.

In CNN exit polls, 48% of people said the US is doing well at containing corona. How is that possible?

No idea, but intuitively this seems like it'd be the question that would be most skewed by people who decided to vote on election day.

Anecdotally, people who take COVID seriously in my life seemed to prioritize voting early. I know I did... I normally vote on election day but this year didn't want to wind up in a rona fest.

Am I losing my mind or has this been posted 3 pages in a row?

remember who is voting today - that's of a heavy Republican leaning population.

that particular q though he doesn't get great marks from Rs.

which is why he's still under water when the early voters were heavy r today (where the exits are from).

She's done a quality job.  I thought Emmett was an unfortunate casualty of straight ticket voting but Hidalgo has been at a minimum competent and more accurately very good.
