OOH! OOH! Mr Kotter! I know this one. It's percentage of precincts reporting not percentage of votes. But you knew that already.

The melt from Tigerdroppings is delicious, the stupid hillbillies thought they would win Minnesota, New Mexico, Nevada, and Colorado.

I am watching Fox News, listening to WBAP, reading tigerdroppings texags & insidetexas....

I do not have enough intake capacity for all these tears.  This is good, please let it keep going.

With Mitch leading a Repub Senate?

I still don't understand what this means.

If I'm running for Senate as a Dem I should run on the assumption that we're actually going to lose?

This is probably wishful thinking but maybe the republican moderates actually work with Biden to get some things done.

Somebody please come find and kill me. Painlessly and when I'm not looking. Please.

Serious question, though.  Last night, MI and WI were reporting grim numbers with pretty large estimates of votes counted.

Is the error there the "estimate" of votes counted?

Is that what it was?

Worse, and y'all stopped melting when we came in clutch.

I’m pretty sure the board meltdown last night turned the tide and led to Biden cruising to victory.

If Biden wins I think it’s important we don’t spike the football.

If y'all were told that Biden would win back Michigan, Pennsyltucky, and Wisconsin and would flip Arizona and possibly Georgia all y'all would take it. Just taking a bit longer to count all the votes.

So Biden has the 2 Nebraska votes or just 1?

why the fuck does Maine take so long?

What do you expect from a state that keeps electing Susan Collins?

Oh fuck yes!  Biden is the Trojan horse for a communist takeover.  Can’t wait to work at one of the gulags and wait in bread lines.

Even Fox says Biden has 238.  He needs 32; that would be NV (6), MI (16), and WI (10).

My math game was been pretty shaky lately but with him ahead in all three of those states things are looking pretty good.

270 to 267 (Trump with PA, NC, GA, and AK).  I guess the missing 1 vote is in ME or NE?

Short of video of him banging a kid, I dont hold out hope that Rs will turn on him in significant enough numbers.  Trump and Rs will blow off all his financial bullshit as "business" and say hes being persecuted for being successful, all the standard R bullshit. Rs will still be scared of MAGA.

His most successful business has been selling red hats and fucking flags to the intellectually stunted.

Minimum wage, for one thing.  Florida passed a ballot initiative for $15 an hour in a state election that was otherwise horrendous for Democrats.  Nebraska voted for a ballot measure to increase in 2014 in a red state in a red wave election.  Democrats need to make that a big issue in future elections.  And weed.  People like weed.  Rural internet or some shit.

Because Biden is such buddies with Putin.  They have secret conversations and all.  And that Biden hotel in Moscow is going to do big business.

Yeah it's almost like the population is a lot more progressive than our elite class (surly is 1%, remember) and representatives and would respond well to populist economic pitches that promised to help them and their kids.

Weird.

Strange.

Unthinkable.

Ah well, let's make 2022 about Cheeto Bad Man and the Goodness of Senate negotiations. Worked great for the prequels.

Disagree IMO. If that were the case, Biden wouldn’t have been the candidate and we would be looking at president Sanders or Warren.

Sanders missed his window and you now just have to hope that people like AOC never gain popularity.

I agree with your first sentence, I strongly disagree with your second. I think of Trump as like a Michael Vick. Soon there was a VY, and now dual threat QB's are the norm. Trump's approach will be replicated by many, and I suspect some will be more successful at it than Trump. All it takes is one person to decide to take that path and demonstrate its validity, and plenty more will follow. Lets be honest, we aint running out of idiots anytime soon in the good ole US of A.

Maybe you are correct, but I think Trump is a really special and unique case.  Many politicians are much smarter than Trump and thus incapable of idiot-whispering.  Many as dumb as Trump, but don't possess the idiot-savant quality of self-promotion that Trump has as a result of his peculiar pathologies.

Often imitated, never duplicated.

Biden is the most middle of the road milquetoast democrat. The socialist tag is stupid and funny, but actually smart to label him as such to scare up the Cubans in Miami. Those dumb fucks bought it, hook line and sinker.

And Medicare expansion has been passed in a bunch of red states the past few years.

Red state voters like Democratic policies. The Democratic Party is simply absolutely abysmal at selling itself.

This reminds me a lot of 2018. Election night was disappointing, Florida Florida'd, Ohio went red. And then, we went west, and Democrats started winning. And the days after the election went even more heavily in the Democrats favor.

Exactly what I told my wife about 9PM last night.

Counterpoint, we have politicians that embrace QAnon now winning seats in Congress.

So, Biden gets the sane national % as Hillary but wins an EC landslide?

No, CA and NY take weeks to count all their votes, but nobody really notices b/c the presidential result is never in doubt. Biden will end up with at least 52% and win PV by 4 or 5.

Where are we at with the calls on the Senate?  Looks like either 51 or 52 seat GOP chamber?

I’m having difficulty finding reliable reporting, but it seems like there is still a chance for an Ossof run off and a Maine ranked choice, both hinging on whether the Republican falls below 50%. If Republicans sweep those plus the Loeffler runoff, it would be 52-48.

He’s only up 8,000 votes and it isn’t exactly a blow out in Vegas.

There are some mail ballots outstanding that are expected to tilt Dem.

Dekalb is currently at 83% Biden.  Fulton 71%, Gwinnett 58%.  I doubt early/absentee runs much worse than any of that.

Biden needs about a 65/35 split to pull it out if the 92% already counted number is correct.

Its because the large counties which are democrat stronghold are the numbers that have not been counted.

Wayne county in MI had 40% of the vote counted at 2am. Biden was winning there by 40% that is where the ground was made up to put Biden in front.

Do you even math bro? Clark and Washoe have more outstanding votes than the remaining counties combined. And all that's left to count is mail in ballets, which dems are winning 70-78%.
