There are 70-75M baby boomers in this country.  Let's just hope a lot of those fuckers drop dead soon.  Not sure that will fix the issue but I naively hope so.  One day the Rs won't be able to win with a platform that caters exclusively to old white boomers and uneducated bigots.

I really really hope this is right.

Wrong, the rural count is tapped out in Arizona.

Gosar is a moron..... he's the guy who's family made a campaign video against him.... I would want another, more credible source.

First step for Democrats is to stop using this "excuse" and self-reflect. There are votes to be won from the Rs and they need to work on winning them.

This.  But shit, it's still way early to even be thinking that.  The divide in this country is just brutal.....and we're seeing it play out right now, in real-time.

So maybe AZ is going Biden. Still no idea why dems are so confident in NV, lead is all of 8000 votes.

Nevada is the only state left that matters. He wins that and it’s over as it stands now. PA is a pipe dream.

If you think that NV might go to Trump that makes me confident in Biden's odds.  I am not sure I have seen anyone be as consistently wrong as you have been on this thread the past few days

We are looking at Spain and will have nothing to do with local politics. As long as I can eat jamon iberico, drink rioja wine, and travel around Europe, I don't give a rat's ass about elections and such.

little tiny problem of them turning ice rinks into morgues

There are going to continue to be partisan motivated efforts to change the abundantly clear narrative right now that Biden is on track.  The AZ Secretary of State's website contradicts this fool and his Twitter.

CNN's map does not reflect this. Sounds like wishful thinking.

I think they are just putting out misinformation for a legal battle. AZ was always expected to be one of the places they were going to challenge the votes cause "Mezicans". It should get closer but most news companies are sticking with their call.

Yeah, as an arch Anglophile this pains me to say, but the UK is equally as idiotic. Scotland still ok.

I'm angling Switzerland still in Lugano area.

It was a red mirage situation. The red mirage theory suggested that Trump will look like he is winning on election night, but when the mail in votes started being counted, Biden would jump ahead. That is exactly what happened. Michigan could not legally start counting mail in votes until last night, and those are heavily democratic.

All three Michigan, Wisconsin, and Pennsylvania could not count mail in ballots until after election day.  Ohio could count them on before polls closed.

Better go bury your guns in your backyard. Maybe stock up on five gallon buckets of potato soup while you are at. The socialists are coming for you.

My neighbor is a big Trumper. I've honestly been waiting to catch him if Biden finally gets to declare, and enthusiastically say "Man, I can't wait for all the socialism!"

The situation Trump finds himself in is hilarious. Stop counting votes now and Biden wins. Keep counting them and Biden wins. I guess all he can do is say "Well it looked like we were going to win at one point! Rigged!".

So is Christmas on or off this year? I ain't buying no presents if I don't have to.

Since Biden is now in the lead, please do not use the word Christmas again. Big Time Socialist Take Gifts Away and Give to Lazy People day will be on 12/15. At least we were all able to say Christmas in June this year. That is a promise kept by Trump.

Trump calling Biden a socialist > Threat of Trump getting rid of ACA, at least in their minds.

I don't remember where I saw it, but some exit polls (obviously questionable, but I don't see a reason to doubt this) showed that most of Trump's voters didn't think he was trying to get rid of the ACA and also thought he had the coronavirus under control. That's at least partly got to be because Trump repeated those messages to them over and over and over. At the same time, what was Biden telling them?

We know their strategy: to tell a few simple lies, repeatedly. It's effective and difficult to counter, but the Dems don't even try.

Quoting myself here because:

The Democratic Party is so fucking inept.

What is the democratic party supposed to do? If you call them stupid, they double down on stupid. If you explain to them why the democratic platform stands to benefit them, they think you talk like a f*g and your shit's all re*ar%ed. On some level you just have to accept that these people are hopeless. The key is to continue pressing the young and educated to vote and wait for the boomers to die off.

Yeah still anxious.

Yep too much doubt in Nevada, Pennsylvania, and Georgia. Only really need Nevada, but none of them are really feeling all the great. Nevada of course looks the best of the 3.

I often remind myself that how people are betting on something is not always a good way to predict what is going to happen.  A hell of a lot of people bet that Conor McGregor would beat Floyd Mayweather in a boxing match.

one of the best examples of this is USC football and Laker spreads in Vegas.  Always have the influence of pure fan money moving those lines

I don't want to be your husband, but are you in the market for a good-for-nothing layabout nephew?
