While it was a disappointment, the ultimate goal of controlling both chambers is still a possibility. It'll be difficult, but not impossible.

You know what would make it more likely?  Trump going scorched earth on the GOP for not supporting his insanity.  Which, unfortunately, means the GOP will probably line up behind Trump on his insanity.

Ok, and now try to explain this to foreigners. Annnnnddd GO!

Unpopular Politician called a city a piece of shit. The City's spirit animal and/or Deity said Fuck around and find out. As it turns out, the city was the main reason unpopular politician was ousted.

The democrats should run ads about how Senator Perdue did nothing to stop the liberals from treating Mr. Trump very unfairly. He allowed them to steal Georgia right from under our noses.

Sorry.  GA head of election setup or something.

I was in the car when he started talking on CNN.  Berated the reporters for putting their mics where his computer was, correcting the pronunciation of the county of Houston,  and basically talking down to them like red-headed stepchildren misbehaving at a Sunday dinner.

I'm worried that the only thing that's kept a lid on this so far is that they've expected to win.  It'll soon be clear to them that it's not going to happen no matter how many half-assed lawsuits the Trump campaign files.

networks need to grow a pair and call this.

Fuckin a right they do. This is a joke.

Is anyone else old enough to remember the 2016 election when the losing candidate WITH THE CLEAR POPULAR VOTE MAJORITY in an election that was less close than this one was browbeaten by the right wing and the mainstream media into conceding the election and then chastised for not giving her speech earlier? That was one day after the election and there were no lawsuits filed by the campaign to STOP THE COUNT or KEEP COUNTING or any ridiculously anti-American and anti-democratic attacks against ballots cast by the American people.

This needs to be called and this charade needs to end. Stop empowering his madness.

A media outlet "calling" an election means nothing, especially if the candidate on the losing end isn't going to concede.  It's ceremonial fluff.

I don't agree with that.  It sets a narrative and frames any future election challenges.  Florida in 2000 would've been viewed through a very different lens if the networks hadn't called it for Bush.

hahah.  97% is almost literally unbelievable.  If you just told everyone to fill out the second bubble, you probably couldn't get 97% to execute those instructions correctly.

Shut the fuck up, dude! We're almost getting away with this.

True - but it sounds like Biden really wants to wait to claim title of 'President-Elect' until its called by the networks.
