1.  This is a badly needed pickup.  Great news.

2.  Ian Boyd projecting a 5’10” 170 pound speed guy with fluid hips to play safety is awesome, especially given our depth chart at safety and corner.

Lol holy shit. I forgot about this. He doesn’t seem to understand that CBs are harder to find than safeties and just because CBs have the feet and movement skills to hold up at S doesn’t mean they should actually be moved there.

I wonder if he also wants move all our tackles to guard. They’d have incredible feet and fluidity for a guard.

Good grief.

Is Boyd also one of those guys that says every OL prospect that is shorter than 6’7” will have to play inside at guard?

Funny you should say that. A 6'3" all american told me years ago that he could have been just as good at tackle. He said people who say that you need to have long arms are pretty much full of shit. According to him, if you have the feet and technique to play the position, you will do fine. But even a lot of coaches disagree. Shit his OL coach in the pros told him he had to be over 300 to start. He personally thought he was a lot better at 290 but some coaches just get hung up on unimportant shit.

Congrats to an absolute baller!! Another notch on the wall for DBU!

Coming back was the best thing he could have done. If he runs a 4.4 he's going in the 1st 2 rounds, and coming out of HS he ran a 4.5, so him training for the combine he'll do it.

Congrats, Jahde! Hook Em 🤘

Awesome. I thought for sure the all season hype around Caleb Downs would give him the award. Well-deserved for Jahdae.

Next up: coaching Guilbeau to immediately find a block.

But seriously, tho. All the hype coming out of camp about how he was stepping up has let me down. I think he'll be better next season, but he's been kinda meh so far.

What a helliva year for our guys. Barron wins the Thorpe, Banks wins the Lombardi, and we'll have some all-americans. It's good to be king. Now if we could just fucking beat Georgia like we should have (looking at you, Auburn), we would be right where we should be.

I really can't complain too much, tho. We get a home game against a "name" program, and then get to beat up ASU before we take down Oregon (unless someone else does).

I can't even begin to show how happy I am for him. The Thorpe didn't once cross my mind when he said he was coming back. It wasn't until around October than I began thinking he could actually win it. I'm just absolutely stoked for him. And seeing Huff hand him that paper and them embrace was epic.

Not sure anyone believed he would be this good a corner but himself. He has surpassed expectations. I though he would make a good corner but I still didn't think he would be this good. Amazing young man, he deserves all the praise we can give him.

Did this photo session spur some alums to dig deeper into their pockets to steal Aaliyah Chavez from us after they hadn’t been a consideration for most of her recruitment up until the last few weeks.

Well, at least their money is gone. Well spent, imo. Now they will have to dig deeper to get actual football players, but I don't see a lot of kids jumping into that house fire.

Well, if one were decide to really dust off their vagina and bring it out of storage, this post would be one way to do it with a bang.

Personally, I'd recommend putting your gash back away, but it's a free country.
