nice.  pierce seems to have righted the ship a bit in the pitching department.

Yuge performance by Kingham.  Nice to go with him for the last 4 innings.

edit: 4 not 3 innings.

I’m not a rules expert but don’t you also have to cross the first base foul line to be considered a move to second?

The rule states "a runner is out when: b. After reaching first base safely, the runner leaves the baseline in an obvious move to continue an attempt to advance to the next base and is tagged"

Maybe we have improved since then.

Just a thought.

That series was 2 weeks ago. Maybe the two best hitters on the team are having a monster series so far.

How did they lose a series to KSU?

It's baseball. We were on the road with a fair amount of youth. Shit happens.

What's important is that we seem to be building off the setbacks from earlier in the season.

Seriously? The worst call you’ve seen in baseball? In the entirety of you watching the sport, that’s the single worst call you’ve seen? Ever?

It's called hyperbole.

What most of you don’t realize, & it is clearly stated above, you do NOT have to cross the baseline. And just so you don’t think I’m reacting afterward, here was my initial post.

That is a fucking horseshit call.

He was called out because a “move” towards second but I thought you had to cross the actual foul line?

What’s the actual rule on this?

Then what does "leave the baseline" mean?
