I found this uplifting in these times of the corona troubles.  You need to be a bit open minded, and the narrator is a bit wordybut still thought it was pretty good.  I've always liked Kilmer, and maybe one of the few who wasn't aware of what he's been up to over the last 20 years....

When I told my wife about the podcast (she doesn't listen to podcasts), she responded in the only appropriate way...

A bit about that.  More about his career, illness, and the way his Christian Scientist faith pulls him along.

Plus, I didn't know he and Maverick were going to be in the new Top Gun.

His best role, IMO is a little 2004 Mamet movie called "Spartan"

I don't know that I could listen to a podcast about Val Kilmer of all people, but I would be wildly curious to hear from a Christian Scientist from Hollywood during a time of Covid-19.  Now there's a hoax story.

Learning that there was going to be a new top gun movie isn't something that would cling hard to the few remaining strands of my memory banks.

I disliked him until Tombstone.  There's rarely been an actor-opinion-turnaround like that for me.  I was favorably disposed toward everything I saw him in thereafter.

Top Secret! is redemption for anything he's done in the past or will ever do
