They've been looping this for the past several days. They're in the top 100 right now.

I have no idea how they arrive at their rankings, but I know for a fact that FOUR Darius Rucker songs in the top 150 is laughable.

Also of note:  Eric Church has 2 songs in the top 24 while Waylon's highest song was #25.  Florida Georgia Line and Jason Aldean both had a song higher than Waylon.

If #1 isn't "He Stopped Loving Her Today", list is invalid.

But based on the previous post, the list is clearly already invalid.

I thought for sure that would be in the top 3.  Nope...not even top 5!  Bro-country and FM radio drove me away from country back in the late 90s/early 2000s so apparently I missed something really great in Eric Church for him to have two songs in the top 25 of the entire history of the genre.  To this day, I still dont even know the difference between him and Zac Brown.  Which one wears the stocking cap even in the summer???  And for George Strait to not have a song in the top 10, Waylon's highest only at #25, and Merle's highest at #36 is a complete travesty!

Now get off my fucking lawn!!!

Jesus Fucking Christ.

Eric Church shouldn't make the Top 100, let alone the Top 5.

The best thing I can say about Eric Church is that he's better than most of the stuff that gets played on the radio, currently.

God fucking dammit. I hate fucking Garth Brooks.

Me, too.  I liked his first two albums, but he fucked up the entire genre after that.  He's the one who paved the way for this bro-country bullshit.

If you take that list and remove every song released since about 1988 then you’ve got a pretty nice looking list, with the exception of always on my mind not being top 5.

Blue Eyes Crying in the Rain is #100.

What in the actual fuck is that?

Damn, 2020 is taking a shit load of country singers/songwriters!  I'm worried like a motherfucker for Willie, George and Ray Wylie.
