Donald Trump 2018

The League of The South, an organization described by analysts as a neo-confederate hate group, has launched a Russian language page on their website to explore shared ideas on "Southern nationalism."

"We understand that the Russian people and Southerners are natural allies in blood, culture, and religion," Michael Hill, the league's president, wrote in a letter addressed to "our Russian friends." The note was published online on July 17 - a day after President Donald Trump met with, and praised, Russian leader Vladimir Putin in Helsinki, Finland.

The Alabama-based group defines itself as a "Southern nationalist organization", with chapters in 16 states, committed to preserving white, Christian culture. But it has been called a hate group by the Southern Poverty Law Center, which tracks white nationalists and other domestic threats.

The letter posted by the group says that the South and Russia are "two natural allies" against threats of globalism and mass migration. "As fellow Whites of northern European extraction, we come from the same general gene pool. As inheritors of the European cultural tradition, we share similar values, customs, and ways of life. And as Christians, we worship the same Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and our common faith binds us as brothers and sisters," Hill wrote.

They probably need to study up on the Russian Orthodox Church before they make that statement.

Exactly right.  He's powerless to stop it.  And this level of freakout means more shit is about to drop hard.

There are times where I think we are edging closer to a Nixon-style a Saturday Night Massacre where he starts firing people.

But then he whines like a little snowflake on twitter, and I realize that if he had the balls to fire Mueller, he would have done it long ago.

White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders on Monday called special counsel Robert Mueller's ongoing investigation into possible ties between President Trump's campaign and Russia "a hoax and a waste of time."

"We'd all be a lot better off if ... Congress and the special counsel could come to the same conclusion that the rest of America has - that this is a hoax and a waste of time," Sanders said on "Fox & Friends."

Mueller's probe has led to indictments or guilty pleas for 32 people and three Russian companies.

Mueller has charged four former Trump campaign aides - Michael Flynn, Paul Manafort, Richard Gates and George Papadopoulos - though none of the charges are related to misconduct by the president's campaign.

I hope you go to jail Sarah

Precisely.  His strategy is to keep playing the victim and generate sympathy...it’s all he has ever done from the beginning of his campaign.

And they will be shocked if they discover Russia is pretty diverse in areas.   Entire areas that are not white, or that are Muslim, etc.

That's 13... someone's cheating by claiming to be Southern and I gave a lot of leeway letting the dorks from OK sneak in there.  Hell, I guess we can throw MO in there as well since they SEC and all.

I had not been, but will be now.

There's some really funny shit going on.  Tonight, they're bringing in a Russian interpreter to translate all of the chants for the denizens of the Kremlin Annex.

It would be a shame if those people stormed the White House and razed it to the fucking ground.

But, this is maybe the serious undertone.  This is a real and significant protest occurring across the street from its target.  As it gets larger, and as the participants become infected with a mob mentality, it wouldn't be hard to foresee something happening.

Why would former administrators still have clearance in the first place?  Seems once you're out of the job the clearance should be cancelled any way.

How else would they be running the shadow government controlled by Valerie Jerrit?

Oh yeah, and one of those areas has a majority separatist movement that has been in a practical state of war with Russia for decades.  Funny how our admin is all about breaking up the EU and Brexiting, but not a peep about Chechen self governance.

My concern is when Trump tries to clear them out.  I assume sooner or later, a conservative group will take out a permit to protest in the same area as a way to force the police to remove the current protestors.  Not sure the DC cops will do it.  Trump might call in the Fed Response Team, like at the Portland ICE office last month. In general, we have been fortunate that the cops have been trained well enough that we are getting Chicago '68 type responses.  But, it wouldn't surprise me if somewhere, sometime, that might change. Another concern is you get a violence in some counter-protest clash.

This shit may end badly.  But that's always a risk.

The irony here is that Parrots Fucking was a highly respected Iroquois chief.

Clearance and access are not the same thing.  Current investigators may want to pick your brain or get additional insight on different issues after you leave.  That doesn't mean you can walk into the FBI and start pulling files. Practically speaking, it might limit Mueller's ability to discuss what Comey or others knew or observed.

It’s not so much the actual removal of clearances that is harmful.  It’s the overt threat of retaliation if you speak out against the administration in public.

It’s a betrayal of American values and a clear abuse of power.

It's just another shiny object, like Iran tweet, to divert attention from negative Russia press. Don't like the media coverage du jour? Throw a bunch of shit at the wall and see what sticks, it's team Trump's M.O.

I would argue the Russia press is a shiny object itself-to distract us from this:
