Nothing says “religious freedom” quite like the government declaring that people will utter phrases specific to one faith.  That’s like a First Amendment double-whammy.  Trumpism is really an art in striving to be as wrong as possible on as many topics as possible.

Well there is only one true faith so everyone else can get fucked.

Infrastructure week is finally here.

  Quote
WASHINGTON (Reuters) - U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo announced $113 million in new technology, energy and infrastructure initiatives in emerging Asia on Monday, at a time when China is pouring billions of dollars in investments into the region.

“These funds represent just a down payment on a new era in U.S. economic commitment to peace and prosperity in the Indo-Pacific region,” Pompeo said.

Well yeah, how else will DeVos afford to replace her yacht? You fucking broke ass losers think she's going to use one of her yachts TWICE in 10 days?  Good heavens.

I'm still thinking the Democrats can screw this up.

The GOP is enacting tariffs on goods that Americans buy, which results in foreign tariffs on the goods that Americans produce, and is now giving $113B in handouts to help grow businesses in Asia.

Million rather than Billion.

I’d assume almost all of this is spent on goods and services provided by companies with predominant US ownership with their thumbs on the Rs.

Of course they can. Perhaps they will wear flag lapel pins which are much too small, or none at all. Or maybe they will walk right past flags on the stage without even stopping to hug one of them. Worst all they might focus their energy on boring complicated things like the economy instead of kickass awesome shit like space force and hatin on people because of where they come from.

this seems pretty unconstitutional as congress has the power of the purse, NOT the executive.

Seems like that would hinge on whether the specifics of the calculation of basis when determining capital gains is defined by legislation, or whether the specifics of how basis is calculated has been ceded to the IRS administrative rules. Maybe a tax professional can chime in. I could see conceptual arguments either way, but it’s never really occurred to me to scale basis for inflation, except to the extent that most everybody realizes that you need to beat inflation to actually get anywhere.

The more Giuliani goes on his batshit rants, the more I think he is purposely being used as a pure distraction.  Plain and simple.  There's no other reason they would keep trotting him out there to destroy their narrative.

That faith is in...Trump.  Jesus can take a backseat with his hippie hair and lessons of compassion for the poor.  Trump's message may get you a G6.  Demonize and monetize the enemy!

Supporting the Troops, much like their concern for fiscal responsibility is yet another thing the GOP are fucking lying about and always have been.  Any servicemen that says anything against the GOP and especially Trump, they stick knives in their backs.

This.

The American serviceman isn’t something the GOP gives a rat’s ass about. They are just props and political tools, to be used - and discarded and/or denigrated - as convenient.

If you truly support Americans who have served their country, then you should loathe the GOP.

Broke: saying you support the troops but actually don't when it comes to policy implementation

Woke: not saying you support the troops but actually support them by saying everyone deserves fair treatment, healthcare, etc...

There it is. The arsonist, demanding praise for how well he put out the fire he started. Like clockwork. It’s Trump 101: create crisis, defuse crisis of own making (or at least claim to), demand credit for MAGA! Repeat.

Eh, someone brought up the 90s Cowboys the other day, and I think that fits perfectly here as well. It's Trump hubris. Just like when Jerruh said, oh you think Jimmy Johnson is important? Watch me win with Bozo the Switzer.
