Kanye is really fucking dumb.  I think he has this idea in his head that he's being transgressive (and transgressive = brilliant for him), but because he doesn't read and has very little understanding of our history and how our society currently works, he doesn't realize that it's a trangressiveness in the service of power.

And that's a shame. Someone should point him in the direction of Donald Trump's position on the Central Park Five.

But it wouldn't matter. This is a PR stunt on his part.

Ha ha.  Trump tried to take all the credit for the Dow's gains over the past year and a half, insisting that the tax-cuts were the reason.  But now that the Dow had the third-biggest one day drop in history yesterday, Trump is pointing fingers at Fed Chairman Jerome Powell.

What a clueless fucking dumbass.

Oh? How, exactly?

If you are not being sarcastic, let’s break it down:

1. The hurricane is currently in North Carolina, not Florida. Even if he were correct on where it was, no US President is going to fly into the middle of a Hurricane to be there.

2. US Presidents do not cancel events because the stock market is lower that day. We are in ear shot of the all time highs still and this numb nuts would have you believe this is September 2008.

3. It’s a ridiculously stupid expectation thant any tragedy that happens anywhere in the world means Trump’s schedule must be changed.

It’s a hatefully biased tweet meant to incite clicks from the Anti Trump crowd and a good example of what is wrong with Twitter.

Both Romney and and Obama canceled campaigning events during Hurricane Sandy so Obama could focus on Sandy relief efforts.  https://www.usatoday.com/story/theoval/2012/10/28/obama-sandy-romney-campaign-2012/1663431/

This was the moment to use one of those Vaudevillian hooks on Trump. "Pull him in, we are done here."

I love that Trump repeatedly claims this is "THE BEST ECONOMY EVER!!" yet he thinks it's crazy to raise interest rates. He can't have it both ways.

He doesn't know that or care.

He takes credit for all good, and disclaims all bad.  It's his cardinal rule.  He giveth not a shit about reality, or what the Fed does/doesn't do, so long as they don't publicly contradict him.

President drives up national debt with stupid tax cuts and absurd defense spending

Exploding national debt causes Fed to increase interest rates

Rising interest rates hurt the stock market

President blames Fed for hurting stock market with rising interest rates.

It's a tropical storm, not a hurricane. Such a stupid post.

What is it with these Republicans and they're personal finances?

When Nikki Haley announced she would resign as U.S. ambassador to the United Nations at the end of the year, rumors swirled around her potential 2020 ambitions and next move out of President Trump’s administration.

But her decision to resign also put a spotlight on her personal finances — particularly the hundreds of thousands of dollars of debt she has accrued over the years.

Haley’s 2018 financial disclosure form showed various forms of debt, including between $25,000 and $65,000 in credit card debt and both a line of credit and a mortgage worth between $250,000 and $500,000, separately. Nikki Haley’s debt, therefore, could range anywhere from $525,000 to $1.1 million.

On top of that, Haley’s financial disclosure form showed a mortgage worth at least $1 million on an investment property she took on from her parents in 2017. However, she and her husband, Michael Haley, reportedly sold the property for $1.2 million in January 2018, according to The State, a Columbia, S.C.-based newspaper.

In her resignation letter to the president, Hayley wrote that she plans to enter the private sector – which will likely prove more lucrative than the reported $180,000 she makes in her current government role. In a statement to the Post and Courier, Haley’s office said her finances had no role in her decision to resign from her post and insisted the U.S. Ambassador’s debt is less than $500,000. (Representatives for Haley did not respond immediately to a request for comment from MONEY.)

Haley reported she owes anywhere between $15,000 and $50,000 on a Bank of America card with a 12% annual percentage rate, as well as anywhere between $10,001 and $15,000 on an American Express card with a 12% annual percentage rate. Both of these debts were incurred in 2016, according to the form.

There's nothing I want more than a Harris vs Warren debate. Both of them are incredibly intelligent and Warren especially has been really highlighting her policies.

Elizabeth Warren is several times more intelligent and competent than Kamala Harris.  Harris is a complete and thoroughgoing politician that has done nothing else.

Called it back in July.

Same here.  The tariffs are already shaping up to be ruinous.  When half of America lives paycheck to paycheck and it out of money on the 25th of every month, a price increase of 10-20% on consumer goods would be catastrophic to them.  The price increase are only starting to hit and you'll see them really take effect at the beginning of the year.

But yeah, the "Fed," even though 99% of Trump supporters, including Trump himself, have no idea what the Fed does.  He'll use words like "globalist" to describe the Fed and that will be a dog whistle to his supporters.

However, due to now being a convicted felon, he can’t vote.

He can vote.  He hasn't been incarcerated (yet).  In NY, felons still have voting rights until incarceration.  After incarceration, they can re-register after parole is completed or while on probation.
