Mouth-breathing morons who think that's what an alpha male acts/talks like do.  That's his base.

Not true.  He respects him.

Unless he literally was not on site, that's a fairly mild untruth, especially for Donald.  He could have moved a cinder block.  I'm not saying he rushed into the buildings with hundreds of now-deceased firemen, or even did as much as NYC celebs like Susan Sarandon, but in this particular instance, it actually sounds like he's giving more credit to others than himself.  (The fact that this is newsworthy is depressing as hell.)

He has never moved a cinder block in his entire life. He has never used a hammer to drive a nail. He has never cut the grass, cleaned a toilet, changed a diaper, even his own. He has never done a load of laundry, changed the oil in a car, or cooked his own food. He has probably never held the door for a lady or an old person. He is a worthless waste of O2. The world will be a better place when he dies.

A friend of my gf (no pics) made an interesting comment yesterday: there are two Trumps - one in the red tie that you see out and about; the other with a blue tie, always in the oval office, and always sitting.

Half way thru Fear.

Gotta say, it doesn’t sound outlandish at all. Shit explained a lot about some campaign questions I had.

Trump seems fucked.

Saw Woodward on Colbert last night.

Motherfucker is a journalist/anthropologist, he knows what he's doing, and he doesn't take shortcuts or cut corners.  If it's in the book, it's true -- at the very least, the statements he cites are accurate reflections of those statements.  Maybe people connected to the WH lied to him in part/varnished the truth (no "maybe" about it, knowing that crowd).  Even then, he endeavored to cut through their bullshit.

Woodward is as good as it gets.

That's Jack Nicholson.

Woodward is Robert Redford.

I just can't.  This is truly sad.  I knew members of the Flight 93 crew.  And that piece of shit is celebrating as he heads out to Pennsylvania to take part in a ceremony in which all I can hope is that he doesn't defile their memories too much.

Fuck all his enablers and supporters.

He watched, he helped a little bit.  Yeah he flicked an ash off his lapel.

No way he was down there helping without it being recorded by someone on film.

I want to read Fear, and I will someday.   But I picked up a book that was released today....and I can't put it down.  Plus, it's a nice diversion from real life:

Oh, topic on hand...here's a pic that is in the prologue of the book:

Trump's cult doesn't love our country, they love Trump. Remember his whole campaign was that America was not great, and his people ate that shit up.

One of the more bizarre facts about the Trump presidency so far is he hasn’t gone overseas to visit any troops deployed in a combat area.

Former presidents and current senators do it all the time.

It improves troop morale and usually a great PR opportunity for the visitor.

Trump should be all over that.

That would mean taking him away from the golf course.

You try traveling to these war-torn countries with bone spurs.
