At least they are publicly outing their stupidity

Yeah....but the problem is....we live in a country turned upside-down.  "Stupid" is a badge of honor.  "Stupid" has won the day.  "Stupid" runs the show.  The only necessary qualities for leadership in this new world are "stupid" and "loyal."  These folks have scads of both.

And that, folks, is why we're turbo-fucked.

In case you're wondering, the kid is home schooled.  No way would they allow for an education that allows a kid to fact check his parents.  Science?  Hardly. Capitalist Jeebus was sent to lower taxes for the rich, enact policies for the wealthy to get richer at the expense of the masses, and assemble a group of Apostles to keep the illegals out.

Winter is coming you bloated piece of shit.  Gonna enjoy some great scotch while I watch your seat heat up Tuesday night.  Make sure you have the WH kitchen commandeer extra ice cream and Diet Coke.  Lol.  You eat and drink like a pussy too.  Shocking.

Is Hannity also a member of the Morality Police Multiple Divorce Club that Trump and Limbaugh are founding fathers of?

Newt Gingrich is offended by his exclusion from that roster.

You know, if/when I ever make it to Chicago, I may have to hit up this ChiTown fella to share a beverage or five.  I like the way he thinks....

Anytime...I’m hoping this awakening the tub of lard has provided will lead to better things.  But agree with you that in the short term we should brace for a fight.  Either way, my treat anytime you find yourself up this way.  Until then, keep giving ‘em hell, Brother Brisket.

Just got back from a visit to Trump country -- small town, rural W. Texas.  Attended an event in a VERY small town.  Overheard some conversation among locals, including a local law officer.  They were talking excitedly about how they could/would use their various weapons (it's deer season -- all of us in the area were well-armed) to repel the "horde" the caravan is bringing.  Casual, happy conversation about how they'd blow away those folks.  Like you and I would talk about how we'd demolish a plate of good BBQ.  In case you wondered, there are millions of your fellow Americans who are GIDDY at the prospect of being able to blow away some brown people.

My son wisely kept his mouth shut till we got back in the truck, then said "what the HELL?"  And he also noted the distinct absence of ANYONE who wasn't lily-white from that scene.

So, a reminder.  Trump doesn't get support because people look PAST his racist dog whistles.  He gets support because those dog whistles sound like sweet music to them.

My son and I were down near San Antonio today for a soccer match and stopped in Dripping Springs for a brief queso respite at Flores.  Sat in the bar area near a table of lily-white camo'ed fatasses who were loudly complaining about "the caravan" and what they should do about it.  I quietly told my son that I thought we were near a table o'Trumpkins, and he said "how can you tell, Dad?"

At that moment (I shit you not) one of them started opining on "that nigger Obama and his socialist policies".

My son just said "oh".  He's 14 and he gets it.

Wait, people actually sit down and eat at Flores?

We go to the one on William Cannon sometimes and sit at the bar area so we can see our kids play on the playground while we have a few drinks and tacos. They used to have a pretty good Mexican martini but not so much anymore.

In the minutes after alleged shooter Robert Bowers walked into the Tree of Life synagogue and murdered 11 people, President Trump called Pittsburgh mayor Bill Peduto to discuss the death penalty, according to a Sunday report from the Washington Post. After briefly offering thoughts and prayers and a direct line to the White House, Peduto told the Post, Trump jumped immediately into a conversation about how stricter death-penalty legislation could prevent mass shootings like the one his city was currently experiencing.

Peduto was stunned. “I’m literally standing two blocks from 11 bodies right now. Really?” Peduto reportedly responded, adding that the death penalty wouldn’t “bring them back or deter what had just happened.” “I ended the conversation pretty quickly after that,” he said. The White House did not respond to the Post’s request for comment.

I had no idea that the roadside shack in drip was connected to any other shops.

I don't think we're talking about the same location.  This one is the size of your average Chuy's and probably seats several hundred people.

This is the place I'm talking about.

Look in my eyes, what do you see?
The cult of personality
I know your anger, I know your dreams
I've been everything you want to be
I'm the cult of personality
Like Mussolini and Kennedy
I'm the cult of personality
The cult of personality
The cult of personality

Neon lights, a Nobel Prize
Then a mirror speaks, the reflection lies
You don't have to follow me
Only you can set me free
I sell the things you need to be
I'm the smiling face on your T.V.
I'm the cult of personality
I exploit you still you love me

I tell you one and one makes three
I'm the cult of personality
Like Joseph Stalin and Gandhi
I'm the cult of personality
The cult of personality
The cult of personality

Neon lights a Nobel Prize
A leader speaks, that leader dies
You don't have to follow me
Only you can set you free

Good Lord, between the three of them-there's only 150 IQ points and 95 of 'em are Limbaugh.

They do however, comfortably total about 700 pounds.

And one college degree.

https://www.politico.com/story/2018/11/04/trump-2018-elections-midterms-republicans-immigration-960748

Quote

House Speaker Paul Ryan got President Donald Trump on the phone Sunday for one final plea on behalf of anxious Republicans: Please, please talk up the booming economy in the final hours before Election Day.

But Trump, unsurprisingly, had another issue on his mind. He boasted to Ryan that his focus on immigration has fired up the base, according to a source familiar with the call.

Two days out from an expected Democratic takeover of the House, Republicans focused on the chamber are profoundly worried that Trump’s obsession with all things immigration will exacerbate their losses. Many of these same Republicans welcomed Trump’s initial talk about the migrant caravan and border security two weeks ago, hoping it would gin up the GOP base in some at-risk, Republican-held districts.

But they now fear Trump went overboard — and that it could cost them dearly in key suburban districts, from Illinois to Texas. Many of them have cringed at Trump’s threats to unilaterally end birthright citizenship, as well as his recent racially-tinged ad suggesting that immigrants are police killers. The president's drumbeat, they say, is drowning out news any incumbent president would be negligent not to dwell on: that the economy added a quarter-million jobs last quarter, and unemployment is below 4 percent.

Quote

“Trump has hijacked the election,” said one senior House Republican aide of Trump's focus on immigration. “This is not what we expected the final weeks of the election to focus on.”

Trump read on Twitter there was a poll with these numbers so it’s not a lie.  And even if THIS guy IS right that the poll doesn’t exist, it should exist.   and the result should be 99% approval by his African Americans.   Geez.

Well the poll was of the 5 morning guests on Fox and Friends. Diamond and Silk were 2 of them - ergo, 40%.
