Shannon Tweed was in Hot Dog The Movie, and she's incredibly intelligent, so of course the movie has a higher IQ than those 5 dipshits.  And Shannon Tweed is really damn intelligent.  Have I mentioned how intelligent Shannon Tweed is?

Middle School F250 everytime that movie was showing on HBO.

Fine w/ me.  Kill off more stupids.

Yeah, I'm still confused as to why we're bummed out about Stupid People dying en masse.

I was gonna suggest commercial gas ovens but this seems to be more fun for them.

They're not dying en masse. The tiny percentage who do die just convince the larger percentage that the disease is no big deal. (Look in the Fuck Your Feelings Folder. It's in cabinet 12,236, Warehouse 3, Block 43B of the Idiot World-America Archive.)

The lives of a million Americans is a small price to pay for 100 million Americans bent on preserving their right to malign idiocy.

It's not 100 million.

He got 74 million votes in 2020.  1/3 of them, as much as y'all want to paint them as evil racist murderers, are just pocket-book chamber of commerce Republicans.  They will not go down the rabbit hole of true evil.  But there are 50 million batshit Trumpers.  Of which half will gladly take to violence to advance his vision for them.  The good news is many of them are older and will die off soon enough.  For those that aren't of dying age..........that's where I come in.  If he can talk them into his bizarre vision, i can certainly talk them into suicide. It's not as hard as people make it out to be.

How many people do you suppose I am?

I was tossing out a ballpark figure. I think your belief about the 1/3 is optimistic. I think that 1/3 may like to believe they are different, but their votes for and silence about the insurrection indicate otherwise. They can't have it both ways.

voting for DOtArd is going down the rabbit hole of evil. Irregardless of your reason for voting for him.

They voted for Trump in 2020. They're already pretty far down the rabbit hole.

https://www.npr.org/2020/07/07/887649010/regardless-of-what-you-think-irregardless-is-a-word

Merriam-Webster raised the hackles of stodgy grammarians last week when it affirmed the lexical veracity of "irregardless."

The word's definition, when reading it, would seem to be: without without regard.

"Irregardless is included in our dictionary because it has been in widespread and near-constant use since 1795," the dictionary's staff wrote in a "Words of the Week" roundup on Friday. "We do not make the English language, we merely record it."

Merriam-Webster defines irregardless as "nonstandard" but meaning the same as "regardless." "Many people find irregardless to be a nonsensical word, as the ir- prefix usually functions to indicates negation; however, in this case it appears to function as an intensifier," the dictionary writes.

But irregardless was first included in Merriam-Webster's Unabridged edition in 1934, a spokesperson tells NPR. Other dictionaries, including Webster's New World College DictionaryThe American Heritage Dictionary of the English Language and the Cambridge Dictionary all recognize irregardless as a word.

I hold those who use the word "irregardless" in the same contempt as those who say "a myriad of ___".  It might be officially acceptable, but it's crass and unbecoming of a civilized person.

Would you say you have a myriad of words and phrases you would never use?

All of these magats having these profiles is one of the weirder parts of this whole thing.  It's like we all live in the Truman Show or something.

Just wait until you see what the GOP looks like 20 years from now.  They will have completely merged with Qanon.  I don't mean what we have now where they pay lip service to Trump and Qanon.  I mean 100% full-on looking for JFK Jr. to lead them out of the wilderness Qanon.  They will dominate all of Facebook, while the rest of us are in the metaverse or whatever.

MSN headline this morning says Gaetz and one of his cronies are actively planning how to go about overthrowing the government whether or not trump is reelected in 2024.  How far do these insane motherfuckers have to go before they are charged with trying to do something like this?

While this sentiment appeals greatly to me, the fact that the virus continues to mutate does not.  It works on the combination to affect many others, including vaccinated as a means to survive.  Gaetz needed to get consumed by it but apparently the virus requires a fully functional brain and a soul to survive.

Sedition is a meaningless word now. This man should be removed from office and jailed. Then hung after his trial. But we are in a simulation.

I really feel that only a small minority of Americans recognize the real threat. They're not helped by the press, but this issue doesn't really require amplification beyond what we all saw with our own eyes.

Think of the context most people put these events into: America is the greatest democracy in the world; America is the greatest country the world has ever known; terrorists and autocrats occur in other, bad places.

The endless parade of analysts on TV news can't break through their mindset of GOP vs Dem business as usual coverage. They're in a comfortable, easy groove that they don't want to shake up too much. Of course, there are notable exceptions.

We're also a miserable collection of citizens in a democracy because we, for the most part, don't understand the American experiment and the requirements of participation. We don't discuss; we recycle sound bites.

In addition to the brainwashing of the right, we live in world of constant, attractive distraction. Many people younger than me never know a moment of silence that allows a line of thought. I, myself, don't get enough of those moments, and I don't ever use my phone for anything but communication. Maybe call this brainflooding.

Mass advertising, I believe, batters the people into a market rather than a people. (Salute to Nick Tosches who wrote something about "moving through this market that we used to call a world.")

Treason? Insurrection? Conspiracy to overthrow the government? Huh? Sounds bad. I'll get worked up about for a few minutes then return to the pretty static of distraction.

So many things are working against this republic. Who knows, maybe we slip painlessly into autocracy. Salute to George Orwell.

If Democrats had their shit together, they'd be going after the corporate donors of Gaetz and Co.  Get them on record supporting Gaetz's bullshit or force them to donate to other politicians.  Let Matt get elected from Trumpkins alone.

Just watched "the swamp" on HBO...

HOLY shit he goes from almost likeable to complete piece of shit in 90 minutes.

It's almost as if he was a human,  but failed because he was living in Trump sperm

And then when he sees that Buck from Colorado is telling him he just fucked up,  there's the biggest change in his idealistic demeanor.

Fucking worm

I have to admit that while I am well aware the wheels of justice move slowly, this one is moving way too slow for me, but hell if I know.

I'm fairly confident that DOJ leadership wanted to drop this investigation because they're gutless pussies and someone actually involved with the investigation leaked it so that there'd be public pressure to keep investigating.
