Yeah but they probably rail against “other people” getting it and say things like “keep the government out of my healthcare” while on Medicaid/Medicare

My 70+ y.o. parents are very against the government having any involvement in health care.  It’s socialism.  Except for Medicare, they’re ok with that.

Is Mike Gundy there?

If he is we will have one less team in the conference should we be able to play football this year.  They won’t have enough players left to field a team.

Will bags of dicks be trucked in from the stockpile in Norman?

OU Sucks!

The answer is no.  That's like asking an Okie to share his meth or his sister.

Weird he picked this shithole state for his rally.  Not really.  Mouth breathers galore.  Here for the lulz.

Actually, it makes a lot of since.  Unlike Florida and Texas and some of the other Southern states, at the time it was picked, it wasn't heavily trending up in covid cases, or wasn't predicted to.

Of course, now it's trending up.  And the head of the Tulsa Health Department is asking people who attend to self-isolate for two weeks, and get tested after the rally.

Need to set a calendar entry to come back in a week or two and check https://coronavirus.1point3acres.com for the Oklahoma stats.

This’ll be tough to pinpoint just Oklahoma. I bet attendees are from all over the country

Just got done watching the Shelia Buck footage. This event is private, right? Or is a campaign rally considered a public forum where you can't be removed simply for the content of your speech?

I don't know if that's how it works anymore. Too much public forum vs publisher vs first amendment nonsense going on lately.

I mean, she had a ticket to be there and is a resident of Tulsa? Not sure how a trespassing arrest is justified

C-SPAN has a feed from inside the rally.  It is currently showing the My Pillow guy taking selfies with guests on the floor while "Hey Jude" plays, everyone sways and John Lennon rolls over in his grave...

Be nice to lock them in there, play "afternoon delight" on repeat.

BTW, I screwed that one up ... Paul wrote Hey Jude but John's still pissed that it's playing at a Trump rally.  The song after that was "We are the Champions" so add Freddie to the pissed off list...

This trope is catching up with the person on their iphone while checking out with their foodstamp card

Oh it turned into something, just not what they anticipated. I would call it a shitshow.

Meh, somebody there is gonna get pissed that nothing happened and they gonna start some shit.  Night ain't over yet, not by a damn sight...as they say.

8:15p local time in Tulsa.  Still time to make one more bad decision

Looking at the pictures from that, and the other maskless gatherings, I find myself searching for Vincent Price walking through the crowd in a red mask.

a) lets wait until everyone leaves the area before we're confident that it turned into nothing

b) talk on interwebs about a mass zoomer effort to get tickets with no intention of coming. I'm curious how much that is an actual... meaningful reality versus maybe reduced enthusiasm and probably a lot of "going to this is a horrible idea based on any kind of reasoning that calculates self preservation". either way this will probably drive up the unemployment numbers for professional white house staffers
