At least he gets to go to doggy heaven with all the peanut butter he wants without the strings attached.

The things that poor dog had to lick to get that peanut butter ….

Well,…firing Fisher cratered their financial standing in athletics, driving their AD away to tOSU and leading to them hiring Alberts, with a directive to slash costs everywhere but football (where he was to merely “trim” costs).

That led to Schlossnagle’s departure and now Buzz Williams is clearly trying to bail. So, maybe she’s right?

Lets not forget, A&M paid Nebraska 4+ million to buyout Alberts as well!

What was the worse, program-catering move? The Browns giving up three #1s, two #4s and one #3 for Deshaun Watson, and then signing the guy with multiple rape accusations to a fully-guaranteed five-year $230 million contract, or the Aggies giving Jimbo Fisher a guaranteed ten year $95 million contract only to fire him two season later?

If your program is already a smoking crater, can you really make a program-cratering move?

Is Jim looking to get back in the game?  Activated Karen in March to start talking him up again?

That was my thought, put him in the mindshare of many an AD, please return to Aggiland in any position please!

Cheapass Trev: Well we area already paying him so might as well include him the new midnight yell commercials

I hope one of our enemies hires Fisher, in any capacity. I've listened to his guest appearances on XM 84. He was on "Off Campus" for 2 hours each Tuesday during football season with Jacob Hester and EJ Manual. He couldn't be talking to two more sympathetic guys than those two, who played for him and clearly like the guy. They think he's gotten a raw deal and Fisher seems to think he was shitcanned due to ignorance and impatience. He hasn't learned anything and wherever he lands, he'll help fuck the place up in his signature ways. With NIL now, his approach in recruiting is also obsolete.

I would love to see any SEC school hire him.

I'm envisioning a world where he's brought in as some kind of assistant and then starts sabotaging the head coach from within. Starts badmouthing him to boosters and the AD. Attempts some form of coup. Along those lines, I started thinking of one of his protegees he might glom onto to make this situation a reality, and I drew a blank. Google AI returned this juicy delight:

Jimbo Fisher Coaching Tree

Jimbo Fisher's coaching tree is considered somewhat bare, indicating a potential issue with his ability to develop and mentor assistant coaches effectively.23 While Fisher has had a successful career as a head coach, leading Florida State to a BCS National Championship in 2014 and Texas A&M to a strong recruiting program, his track record in developing other coaches is less impressive.35

One notable exception is Mike Elko, who has been successful as a defensive coordinator at Duke.2 However, Elko is primarily known for his defensive work, while Fisher is more renowned for his offensive strategies.2

Fisher's coaching tree has not produced a significant number of high-quality offensive assistants who have gone on to become successful head coaches.23 This lack of a robust coaching tree has been highlighted as a key indicator of problems in Fisher's coaching style and his ability to communicate his vision effectively to his staff.

Basically, we need Elko to leave A&M for another SEC head coaching job. In other words, it will remain a fantasy.

Hahahahahaha! Pull the inverse of the Bill Stewart Maneuver. God, I haven't thought about that story in a long time and I just laughed out at both that scenario and Fisher doing something akin to it.

I mean, Fisher IS from West Virginia. It makes sense. Maybe it's in their drinking water, or genes all the way back to the Hatfield's and McCoy's.

It's kind of a shame that Karen Geriatric Hamm is no longer a persistent presence in online aggie world. She wasn't as helpful to Texas as jimbo, but she upped their lulz quota.
