Mr. Tuberville goads to Washington

It's the trajectory of the times that this gimpweed is gonna get elected somewhere, so it might as well be Governor of Alabama. We've built up immunity and probably have nekkid pictures of his family members molesting fruit. Imagine how much greater the damage to the nation would be if he ran for office in a larger state like Florida?

That said it'd be nice if the local Republican lawyer class would hike up their saggy blue britches and persecute the shit outta Tubs. But they won't-- they've been spooked since Luther Strange (actual name) aka Goliath the Frat Boy declined to prosecute crooked-ass Governor Governor Bentley (He changed his first name to Governor so it'd be on the ballot) thereby bringing out the WRATH of the Fine People of AlaBAMMuh in the next Republican senate primary, who either voted for Angry Snow Monkey Mo Brooks, or, like me, said "Let the world burn" and helped nominate The Rev Roy Moore, known for decades of Ten Commandment stunts.

Then Roy fumbled the ball and Doug Jones scooped it up and ran it 98 yards for a TD.

I like stories.

Tubs is a better candidate than Roy Moore was. I can't believe I typed that. It's just that Moore was so damn bad.

Roy Moore was done when he waved around his Lady Smith pistol.

It's worth going over how damn weird Roy Moore was lest it be forgotten.

And there are plenty of buildings in Los Angeles with "Shabbat elevators"; they stop and the doors open on every floor. I've seen them in hotels and hospitals.

Did not know such a thing existed. I thought it was forbidden to ride an elevator, not just "operate" it.

I'm tempted to ridicule Alabamians for their inability to be embarrassed by the rubes they put in office, but I live in Texas so, I'll just sit quietly...

Tuberville says he avoids reading to maintain his own opinion

Capitol Hill reporter Matt Laslo had a conversation with Sen. Tommy Tuberville (R-Ala.) in which the gubernatorial candidate revealed he doesn't

"No, I read very little," Sen. Tommy Tuberville (R-AL) told Laslo, who wrote the report for Raw Story. "I want my own opinion, not somebody else's."

The question is often used by reporters to gauge what information they're gathering and how informed they are about current events as they cast their votes.

Tuberville is assumed to be the winner in deep-red Alabama, despite his well-loved opponent, former U.S. Sen. Doug Jones.

Laslo noted that media avoidance has become a broader issue among Republicans seeking to distance themselves from daily political reporting. Tuberville appears to be taking that to the extreme, however.

"What do you make of this report that Vice President Vance was the person behind the leak in one of the Politico stories that got them banned from the White House?" Laslo pressed Tuberville while sharing an elevator in the U.S. Capitol.

"Did they ban Politico, too?" Tuberville asked. "Who knows? I mean, hey, I've learned up here about 10 percent of it is fact. The other [90 percent] is not even close to reality. You know that. Everybody tries to get out there and make a name."

"There's no way Vance would do that," Tuberville said. "You gotta have faith in your people that lead, you know, on both sides."

According to reports, the quote came from Vance on a White House briefing call in which press were told to attribute information to senior members of the administration.

When asked about Vance's 2028 prospects, Tuberville noted that, clearly, Vance and Secretary of State Marco Rubio can't both run because “You can't waste that much money."

“I saw that Rand [Paul] is thinking about running,” Tuberville said. “Rand Paul — who else? Cruz will run. I was with [Florida Gov. Ron] DeSantis Saturday at a football game in Tuscaloosa. He said he hasn't made his mind up yet.”

Laslo then asked about the recent reports that Republican Sen. John Curtis (R-Utah) wants Trump's eldest son, Donald Trump Jr., to testify before the Senate about accepting a big wedding gift from a close friend of Russian President Vladimir Putin. The friend rented an island for Don Jr. and his closest friends.

"I didn't see that," Tuberville said.

"Oh, yeah? He's calling your party out. Some people aren't happy," Laslo replied. "Do you have questions about Trump Jr. taking Russian oligarch money?"

"I don't get into all that," Tuberville claimed. “I mean, no reason to talk about anything you don't know anything about.”

fucking garrett gilbert lit that dumbfuck up in lubbock in 2010.

in 2011, texas rushed for 439 yards against that dumbfuck in austin and texas scored 52 points with david ash and case mccoy combining to complete a total of 5 passes.

we put another 31 on them in lubbock the next year in 2012.

that stupid fuck couldn't stop our worst offenses in history and went 0-3 against some of the worst texas teams since 1998.

Tuberville: Can you imagine if your kid would come home one day and says, “I'm taking these drugs. And I'm getting ready to have surgery because my teachers and my principal says I can”

In most states, kids can't get their ears pierced without their parents' consent, but they are getting surgeries at school.

I respectfully disagree. Tommy (Wingnut) Tatertown is a fraud of an Alabamian. He’ll be receding back into the woodwork in about, ohhhh. . . thirty days. Good riddance.
