Wiltfong says Hicks will OV to aggy December 16th weekend and aggy is using that weekend for a big recruiting week.  Sounds like a last ditch effort to throw serious money bags out to overcome the dumpster season.

In all seriousness, who do they even have that's still considering them outside of their commits?

Late to the A&M 2020 season discussion, but I'd like to point out that they barely beat that 0-9 Vanderbilt team, winning by a score of 17-12 at home

To be fair, the average IQ difference between Vandy players and aggy players was 100 points. Them fellas smarted their way to a close game.

Saw something a rumor going around that Denver Harris was the driver when PJ Williams got arrested.

SIAP but looks like that rumor is true and that his driving was the reason they got pulled over in the first place. Also, it was 7.7 oz.

Their signature win was over an 8-4 Florida that OU beat by 35.

I knows it aggy but they were beyond dumb to extend Jimbo after the '20 season. It's like critical thinking is not something aggy can do. They played 1 team with a pulse the entire season and they thought that was worthy of an extension.

FEI didn't even have aggy as a top 15 team in '20. Texas finished ahead of aggy in Herman's final year. In total aggy fashion, they celebrated beating below average teams and then they were dumb enough to lock themselves into a moronic contract.

They were already locked into a moronic contract.  But they thought lsu was going to do something even more stupid so they did something so stupid that not even lsu would surpass them.

It was already a moronic contract but without the 4 year extension would Jimbo still be coaching at aggy? I would say it's a coin flip.

7.7 oz? Christ that’s a lot of weed. Did they all just take their “NIL” and try to triple it by buying drugs to sell?

also - lol:

According to the police report, Williams had 7.7 ounces of marijuana in a black bag with a Texas A&M football name tag attached to it.

They should have put Jimbo's name on the tag. Would have solved their problems.

I would say no, he would be gone.

Was Harris the one who drove like a maniac in that parking garage earlier this year? He seems like really bright kid.

Let's just say he's not Ocean's 12th best wheelman ready.

What NIL? This is their attempt to keep up with the joneses at Texas.

@Bruh Manrunning here to hype the Miami and Arkansas wins as "top 10 wins" aged about as well as his takes on aggy.

Miami is 5-6 and Arkansas finished the year 6-6.

Yeah, well that’s 11 wins combined.  If you lose the combined part then that’s 11 wins.  Did Texas beat a 11 win team?  I didn’t think so,  Advantage Aggy.

What's the aggy visitor list look like for today?

They’ve decided to have their big recruiting weekend after the season is over. And after the semester is over too.  The energy will be palpable.

Bobby Burton said he was hearing Jeff Grimes as a potential target for aggy OC.

This is a good time to point out to folks that Jeff Grimes graduated summa cum laude from the Ryan Day School of Violent Diddling.

I believe his area of study was Creeping & Chloroform. In the words of the immortal 50 Cent…”who’s that peepin’ through my window…”

Money

also his wife is an aggy.  It would be a good hire if Jimbo truly stayed out of the way - count me skeptical.  I think he is ready to be a G5 head coach if he wants that.  But he would make less dough because AnM will offer him a ridiculous contract as they always do.

He was the first name floated awhile back. It’s a weird one because Baylor will actually match salary, he can run his own offense right now without any oversight, and he’s in line for a head coaching job soon

Why would Grimes leave for a worse situation?

He MIGHT be a redass, got his masters there and married an Aggie VB player.   Plus have you seen how they like to give money away?   He just might become the highest paid assistant with the least amount of actual work to do while having the job security that comes with the HC $85M buyout

Any OC who has an agent with a pulse will be getting their name thrown out for that position.

Talk about the easiest raise of your life.  Their agent can go tell the AD they’re being offered $5 mil per year with a straight face.

Who says he is leaving? He is probably a HC candidate for lower P5/G5 job. Getting his name out there can only help his cause to become a HC. If it that doesn’t work, money can be an excellent motivator

Even if it is Grimes and he did run the offense, that is not worrisome in the slightest. Baylor fans I know are not pleased with his constant turtle-ing in games and that was on display yesterday, just like it was the week before against TCU.
