Dusty over thinks the pitching.

I was leaning towards he doesn’t think at all...

at least with that last move

how do you bring the guy with the lowest strike % in the majors, who hasn’t pitched in 3 weeks, in to the game with a runner on in a 2 run game where said guy has to face at least three batters (if he can’t get 2 outs first)?

still would have gotten away with it if Tucker plays a serviceable LF

Pressly leads the league in blown saves. Play him in the 7th or 8th when he isn't fucking worthless. Jesus. Baker sucks at this point in his career as a manager regardless of injuries. This team is absolutely hopeless in 2020. Bring back Hinch in 21, fuck it!

Our entire bullpen is a fucking joke. Fuck 2020

And unfortunately this is correct. Doesn't matter which of these puds you put out there they will fuck up

Waiting for us to rethink that decision to let Rodney go last week.

I think he was getting knocked around by our A ball team so I can only imagine what Oakland would do to him

Rangers' Danny Santana: Facing eight-month rehab from surgery

Santana underwent surgery on his right elbow Wednesday and is expected to require around eight months to recover, Levi Weaver of The Athletic reports.

According to Weaver, Santana essentially had a modified Tommy John surgery, as his procedure involved the swapping in of an artificial internal brace in place of the damaged tendon in his elbow. Based on the timeline laid out, Santana will likely be sidelined until around the middle of April, at the earliest. After posting a career-best .858 OPS in 2019, Santana dropped to .511 this season while striking out in 38.1 percent of his 63 plate appearances before going under the knife. That steep downturn in performance coupled with his lengthy recovery timeline could prompt the Rangers to non-tender Santana this winter.

Shit.  fucking walks

The two runners that scored on Tucker's misplay last night, reached on walks.  Today, other than home run, the other two runs they scored reached on checks notes walks.  With league batting averages at a 50 year low, it's hard to win when you're on the wrong side of 6 walks to 1.

It’s also hard to win when you’re on the side of the box score that’s scored checks notes 10 runs in 41 innings this series (and 6 runs in 40 innings if you take out the 4 run 4th of game 2 Tuesday).

2 crooked number innings in the last 5 games.
