They are also better than we are.

Sure, but not overwhelmingly so.

In this series, they could be anywhere from 0-3 to 3-0, and they are about to be 3-0 largely due to them playing harder, running out plays, and not making stupid mistakes.  They haven't just out "bettered" the Astros this series.  Its because they are doing the things that even little league managers yell at their kids to do.

We are all Longhorn fans so I get it.  You probably think OU is just always "better" than us too and it doesn't matter when a DB quits on a play where he is beat anyway. OU DBs never quit on plays. Neither do the Rays. That's why they win.

wtf?  How did Altuve not tag?

Can't tag on that or you're thrown out on a fielded one hopper.

Only ridiculous thing about that was the announcer acting like it was a great play. That was a routine catch for a major league outfielder.

altuve would get thrown out at home on a 1-hopper to RF? come on, man.

Absolutely. He fielded that maybe 200-220 feet from home plate. Altuve gets thrown out easily at home if he tags. Not even close.

I don't know.  It was obviously going to carry to the RF.  After he had to slide like that I think he could have tagged.

You're going to assume he is going to slide to send a runner in a risky situation to score a run to make it 5-3? No way.

The right decision was made. He wouldn't have been sent even if he tagged. The risk/reward is off the charts to hold him.
