I’ve been beaned numerous times. They take the wind out of you on a good (bad) one. The worst was actually “a lucky pop” because it was mid 90’s into upper thigh muscle (best option under the circumstances. However, the pain was immeasurable, and my leg went dead for a good 20 minutes) Unless you’ve been “properly beaned” it makes it difficult to tell about it and get the misery across to those that haven’t. It is something you have to go through to really appreciate the suck.

Baker is such a shitty manager

Reddick was 5 for 15 against Hendriks.  Not a bad play by Dusty.  Now bringing James back form more than one inning is a different story.

Were any of those ABs pinch hitting? Especially coming into the shade like that. Another poor decision by Baker.

I disagreed with pinching for Machete.

Unless he's hurt, otherwise that's just being too fucking cute, just because.

Right, and I'm not saying it's determinative of anything, I just didn't really understand it because Machete isn't terrible with the bat, Reddick isn't Yordan, and in the event the game went to extras, you don't want to have already wasted a C and a PH.

I believe they said Hendricks' career high for pitches was 29.

He had 26 at the start of this inning.

That's incorrect

Well it would have been shocking for this pitching staff to sweep a team as good as Oakland.  Overall the pitching has overperformed in the post-season, and still have needed the bats to bail them out at times.  Returning to the mean a bit today.  Can still win this, but I think the A's are favored unless we get a start out of Greinke.  Too many pitching injuries, amazing that they've gotten to this position.

You Dusty haters act like we got 7 Mariano Riveras in the pen. He is trying to not burn the fuck out of every arm and win games.

But let your hate flow. Yall already had yalls mind made up with that in March anyway.

Yea he has to have the worst collection of arms to run out ever. I wouldn't want the job of picking between 3-4 guys you know all have the ability to give up 5 runs in 1 pitch which should be humanly impossible but not with our guys.

It's shitty to score that many runs and lose.  Well, we just have to score more tomorrow.

Can we allow less, please?
