Uncle Charlie starting tomorrow. Coupled with Glasnow, we have our work cut out for us.

The bigger they are, the harder they fall...

These Astros have always answered the call when it comes to bigtime pitchers on the bump against them.

Game 7.  Everyone except Framber is available.  Maybe replace James with...whom?

If they replace James, he wouldn’t be available for the WS. I’m sure some of y’all are thinking that would be good. But it wouldn’t be. The cupboard is bare.

@Helobious

Hello there.  Tomorrow you have a chance for your Yankess to lose sole possession of the greatest series choke in MLB history.   Who are you rooting for?

The only other time a team came back from down 0-3 to 3-3 was this very game.

Calling my shot, Bregman will kill these fuckers manana.

Wouldn’t that require him to have an at bat that results in something other than a double play or a strike out?

We need to hope Charlie comes out like in Game 2 but that we don't let him off the hook/hit a bunch of at'em balls this time.

Quote

The Astros put 15 balls into play against Morton, hitting them hard enough to combine for a healthy .473 xBA per Statcast. To put that into context, of all the games this year during which the starting pitcher faced at least 10 batters, including the postseason, Morton’s xBA was the 15th-worst. And for the most part, the other high-xBA games were fairly ugly:

Worst xBA Starts, 2020

Justin Dunn 8/17 .597 2.0 5 6 Loss

I don’t know if he finds it tomorrow

I’m feeling more of a game 2 in the World Series start....and I’m ok with that. Because it means the World Series and it means he’s following the springer blueprint for a WS MVP

Fucking love seeing Correa becoming the leader of this team. His teammates would walk through fire for him. Beautiful to see. He is everything you want in a player

If I’m being nit picky, I’d like a little more durability.   But yeah... he’s a winner to the bone.

We had our work cut out for us with Snell and Castillo today, so yeah.

I think they are up to the challenge

Right?  Just look at the list of all-stars and Cy Young winners the Astros have beaten in the post season over the past four years   It is long and distinguished   They ain’t skeered

Darling has the worst hair dye I’ve ever seen, for the record. Just thought I’d throw that out there.

He should hit up his old teammate
