I thought we could have a running aggregate of topical, cancel culture stuff we should be boycotting depending on our political beliefs, as it's very fluid and dynamic depending on the zeitgeist, news cycle and virality of the day.

I'll kick us off:

What are Democrats boycotting right now that we should know about, which would hurt businesses that are in opposition of what we champion? I know businesses were boycotting Facebook ads recently, is that still a thing?

For Republicans (ironically using cancel culture despite crying about it all the time), obviously the big news is boycotting Goodyear for their take on political correctness in the workplace (you can google the controversy or view the slide if you haven't seen it yet). Anything else Republicans need to know? I know Goya beans were being bought in a sort of anti-boycott (buycott?).

Maybe both sides can agree on this one.

Eleven-year-old Amy lives with her mom, Mariam, and younger brother, awaiting her father to rejoin the family from Senegal. Amy is fascinated by disobedient neighbor Angelica’s free-spirited dance clique, a group that stands in sharp contrast to stoic Mariam’s deeply held traditional values. Undeterred by the girls’ initial brutal dismissal and eager to escape her family’s simmering dysfunction, Amy, through an ignited awareness of her burgeoning femininity, propels the group to enthusiastically embrace an increasingly sensual dance routine, sparking the girls’ hope to twerk their way to stardom at a local dance contest.

While perfectly acceptable in the 70s and 80s that pic and show is borderline illegal today. Maybe not quite there but it’s gettin close.
