Being a trust fund baby wannabe little Hitler who doesn’t understand the law is not a good look sack. Grow up.

The enemy is you. Not the media.

The evidence is clear.  Self defense.  Our media sucks.

Yeah, I think that's why I'm interested in this case. For a year we've been spoon-fed a bullshit narrative and now that it is falling apart, the pushback is amazing.

Being called "Hitler" because you believe someone has the right to defend themselves and the right to a fair trial is Peak 2021,

Rosenbaum gets released from a mental hospital, decides to attend an armed protest, uses the N word on camera while telling people to shoot him, stalks an armed protestor, attacks him, gets shot, and is being labeled a victim? What a disaster

You forgot that Rosenbaum also told Rittenhouse minutes before the shooting that he would kill him if he caught him alone.

This trial is rapidly falling apart. First, the State witness (a cop) testified the DA told him not to execute the search warrant a judge signed on Gaige G's phone.  Said it was the first time in his career a prosecutor asked him not to execute a warrant.  So we lost that evidence.  Then the State's witnesses admit to purposefully lying to police multiple times. Then the defense brings in a witness that says the prosecution asked them to change their statement to include information they had no knowledge of. The State then spent twenty minutes in front of the jury attempting to rehabilitate the witness into saying that the lead prosecutor didn’t actually solicit the witness to commit perjury in an official proceeding or solicit the witness to commit fraud in service of the prosecutors own felonious act. And the witness looked right at the jury and credibly wouldn’t budge. The State is gonna be lucky if these two guys get out with their law licenses. Forget winning.

Essentially what happened was most major media outlets and almost all of social media made up their minds about what happened, and many are having a hard time accepting the truth now that the actual facts and evidence are coming to light in court. Which is even dumber when you realize that the footage and quality analysis was around right after the incident.

Some people have a very hard time accepting facts and reality.

And the witness is an autistic man, right?

We probably won't ever know, but there was definitely something off about him.  Mildly asperger-ish with a splash of idiot-savant?  He was functional but strange.

It was entertaining but he really didn't impact the case imo.

CR'ers will NOT take kindly to your succinct and accurate summation of this case in any form or fashion.

Uh . . . did you read the entire phrase?  The belief must have been objectively reasonable.  That's an objective standard.

Take it from the Wisconsin Supreme Court, which recently stated that in order to be entitled to a "perfect" self-defense instruction, a defendant is required "to make an objective threshold showing that (1) he reasonably believed he was preventing or terminating an unlawful interference with his person, and (2) he intentionally used only the force he reasonably believed was necessary to terminate that interference."  State v. Johnson, 961 N.W.2d 18, 25 (Wis. 2021) (emphasis added).

The only reason to do this is if the defense knows something the prosecution doesn't.  You never put yourself in a position in a courtroom where you do not know the outcome.  That is rule #1.

Hard to see any benefit to this.

This Grosskreutz roommate seems like a swell guy. Just admitted multiple times "I lied". This case is a fucking disaster. I am sure he is one of his antifa butt buddies.

Grosskreutz lied on the stand multiple times.  And admitted he lied to cops multiple times.

He is going to say stuff which will open him up to character questions from the DA. This is retarded. This is all risk. He misspeaks once he will look like a liar. He already won this case. God Speed kid. JFC.

Kid has balls.  Maybe he is just an idealist and wants to clear the record and have his day in court.

I doubt his lawyer open ups the door to any character shit.  That pretty much would have to be done on direct.  State cannot lead him into character or propensity.  Has to be the defense.

Sal the owner of the lot gave Rittenhouse's buddy, Nick Smith, the keys to the car lot.  And took a picture with them all.  Sal was lying about not asking them to protect the lot.  Motive would be insurance fraud or avoiding civil lawsuit,

Downplaying the losses still doesn't make sense.  You'd want the losses to be overestimated if they have a pending claim or civil suit.

My guess is that their taxes aren't exactly up to code.
