Which location?

I almost posted that. Davenport Village. I haven’t been to other locations in quite some time and wasn’t sure of consistency across their places….but these were 10/10.

The one they had on north Lamar was fantastic. It may have shuttered though?

What cocktail did your husband have?

I don't know how they do it up there but we don't gender Margaritas in Texas. Certainly not straight up without any frills.

If you get some strawberry swirl bullshit then maybe.

My late sister used to make a drink she called a "Swirly".

It was pina colada and strawberry daiquiri poured in a tall glass and lightly swirled with a swizzle. They were great on a hot Houston summer day.

I sure miss her.

I'd drink that if you pour a bunch of 151 in it.

Which I think they sadly quit making.

My recollection of eating at Ninfas as a little kid was me getting the “El Rey” (two puff tostadas covered in queso) and mom drinking a sangria swirl, which was a frozen margarita with a cool looking red swirl in it.

TRUE LEGENDS NEVER DIE?

Well, unfortunately BACARDÍ 151 rum had to be discontinued in 2016, but the legend of our Over Proof rum lives on in the

memories of its loyal fanbase.

Not complaining,  but I just gained 10 pounds looking at that.

The problem with having these as leftovers in the fridge is that they are equally delicious for breakfast, lunch, dinner, or a late night snack.
