Call me crazy, but it's possible a team doesn't need to be loaded with 4-star or better receivers IF the scheme, routes, etc. actually show some imagination.

Are you trying to say that coaching is important??! Including coordinator positions?

If Omeire was healthy, he would have probably taken Eagles' spot by now.

Crazy thing is, he was ahead of Black on the depth chart and was the #1 WR on the team as a fucking true freshman.  Can't wait to see him next year and hopefully the injury heals well and quick.

Fuckinng Eagles.  I knew your big mouth bullshit wasn’t gonna get backed up on the field. Goddamnit. I assume we are gonna hear transfer candidate bullshit by week 3

This is some Aggy shit. Eagles is playing like shit but it has nothing to do with his off the field statements.

I made the comment on twitter that Eagles is clearly unhappy here and just needs to transfer. Got so much shit for that because "omg he's so talented, you're retarded!". Zero catches and numerous drops today. I hate going after a current player but it's beyond obvious he doesn't want to be here.

I like the utep receivers talking shit after first downs when down by 35. Means they ain’t quitting yet so we keep getting worthwhile practice.

He had already taken Eagles spot. Him going down was the only reason Eagles went from 2s to 1s

Texas offensive coordinator Mike Yurcich, who is super intense about the details, this week was asked about Eagles.

“His confidence level is growing,” Yurcich said. “We’ve got to get Brennan playing as fast as he possibly can. However fast he is - if he’s a four-four guy in the 40 - we’ve got to make sure he’s running a four-four when we snap the ball. When he’s processing everything, we need to make sure he’s reacting and not hesitant. When he lines up, he needs to know how to adjust based on coverage. That comes with repetition after repetition after repetition. That’s the name of the game.”

Anyone else concerned by the lack of a pass rush by this supposedly dominant d-line we have?

Not really, seems like we’re just keeping everything in front of us. When we bring pressure the pressure is there. Haven’t seen many stunts and etc.

A little, but I think it’s something we can work on and Improve on

QB is doing a decent job of bailing and throwing the ball away when the rush starts to get there.
