Holy shit. I didn't see the game. What a buffoon.

And I thought CU favored by only two was a lock. What happened? Were there significant CU injuries? Did KU get people back from injury? Very bizarre.

KU just had a horrible start to the season. 5 of their 6 losses were by one score or less.

That's pretty much what colorado did last year. Lots of one possession losses.

I've watched a lot of big 12 games this year but have only seen kansas once for about a quarter. Several media guys are getting their props for predicting CU being in trouble. Seeing now that Neuheisel was one. But apparently it was common knowledge that they've improved vastly under the radar. I had no idea.

That wasn't much of anything.

They've definitely improved to Big 12 level. Which they weren't even that last year.

NIL/Portal killed Big 12 talent level this season, and CU moving to the Big 12 was a huge help to them. If they were in the Big 10 this year they'd probably be a 5 win team. That's the perfect level for CU to compete, and they may still win the title there.

I think the Deion to the Cowboys thing has legs if Jerry is willing to pay up for him. That will be an epic disaster, but it will be no matter who Jerry hires because Jerry will still be there either way.

This thread is fucking hilarious.  Silence when CU wins and everyone comes out of the woodwork when they drop a game.  You guys are just like r/CFB

That Sanders level of victimhood must be contagious. Even if you're complimentary of their improvement, buff fans will get despondent if they sense you aren't fully on board with that scum fuck of a human, Deion Sanders.

Most of the CU fans on this thread don't discuss the team or the roster or really anything football related. They just get irritable about "the haters."

And what was remarkable about any of their wins outside of the way they won the Baylor game? How many bowl eligible teams have they beaten? Two? Do we even count CSU?

No suspension from the Big12 for hitting an official. There are 1500 other players in the Big12 who would have been suspended for this.

Way to make a statement, Yormark.

Didn't he just get all self righteous and fine and reprimand an AD for talking to Kevin Mar harshly? I guess he would have been better off by giving him a shove in the back.

I think it will be the Raiders. Pierce is definitely gone, they desperately need a QB and will be in a good position to draft Shedeur and, well, Mark Davis.

Just picked up a bunch of croots.

Quote

Colorado sent shockwaves through the recruiting world Thursday night when the Buffaloes landed 2025 commitments from IMG Academy defenders London Merritt and Alexander McPherson, offensive tackle Carde Smith and wide receiver Quentin Gibson, all in the span of 30 minutes.

They also have Julian Lewis and Quannel X Farrakhan Jr lol

Both the QB and #12 have been special since arriving in Boulder. The biggest change from year one to two, and IMO, the reason they are doing so well is the defense changes in personnel and scheme. The OL is improved as well to protect Sanders.

Everything seemed to click after the embarrassment playing Corn. Good for them! I think both QB and 12 will be on stage in New York, but Hunter walks away with the Heisman.

Hook’em!!

Hard to compare - Deion was already a head coach and got to bring of bunch of his players with him, including a ready QB and a two way star. Sark didn’t have that benefit.

CU Year 1 went completely off a cliff once they got into conference play. I know Sark lost a bunch of games in a row but most of those at least felt competitive. The two Year 2s feel similar.

Deion going to be hard pressed to make the Year 3 leap like Sark did with Shadeur and Hunter leaving. It’ll be interesting to see if they roll with the highly rated QB croot they just flipped from USC or if Deion shops in the portal for a one year solution.

Jerry feasts on disasters , like some of the cuck Cowboy fans. It’s been happening for decades.

Why doesn't Sanders deserve the Heisman more than Hunter? Usually we give the QB more credit on that.

Shedeur deserves an invite, IMO, but the shit Hunter has done this year is next level.  He's a top 5 WR and a top 5 DB in the country.  I've never seen anything like this in my lifetime.

And this leaves out the forced fumble at the goal line against Baylor that finished off the game.

They looked like absolute dogshit that game.  Couldn't block anyone.

I honestly don't have a clue how they completely turned around their O-line play in the middle of the season.

I keep hearing people compare him to Charles Woodson, but Woodson had only 11 catches for 231y in his Heisman season.

They didn't start playing like a team until after the Nebraska game.  Something about that game turned their season around.

I had to tune out at halftime because FML but damn CU's players really are over the top especially for a 3 loss team. The ref that pointed out that CU's players were blowing kisses to the crowd definitely should not have said it considering his position but he wasn't wrong. I know there is a lot of irrational hate for Prime and his squad but they seem to double down on it for the sole purpose of creating more haters and I do think it's annoying.

I still like Prime and he's proven to be a good coach, and I don't fully blame him for the in your face culture these days. This weekend's brawls and the majority of comments about them just show that winning with class and dignity is dead as declared by a bunch of fake alphas who are now the prodominant voice in our society.

Whatever, I am legitimately curious though how serious he is about his players not opting out of bowl games. He of all people strike me as the type to understand why Travis Hunter would prefer to not risk injury as the likely No. 1 overall pick for a meaningless trophy in whatever Corporate Sponsor Bowl they get assigned. My guess is he'll play but his snaps will be limited. Not sure how to do that with Shedeur without looking like a hypocrit.

Prime deserved some of the vitriol he received here for posturing and such, but certainly not to the level that was posted. In fact, most of the haters here have simply stopped posting, since their 'worst coach ever' and 'won't win two games', etc, narratives has been disproven. Also, I don't see his players running amuck like they have at Georgia. The worst that happened was a player Tweeted that CU had a bad locker room culture and that player failed at Florida, too. Yet. somehow, I don't see a tenth of the comments in the Kirby Smart thread as we saw about here about thug culture, etc, etc. There is definitely a double standard for Prime.

I'll eat crow. Colorado lost to the teams with a pulse, but I certainly didn't not think they would finish with a winning record, an pretty decent one at that. It will be interesting to see what Deoin does after Shad and Hunter leave the team. Also will be interesting how "good" Colorado is next year w/out those 2.
