This will be interesting.

Dillon Gabriel will either be Joe Montana or a backup.

Man... please please Jerry!! Gabriel for back up. (Never happen buy a man can dream)

For the record, I'll go back to my original note.

I wouldn't take a QB in this draft, but if forced to pick would choose Gabriel.

I think that important to point out.

By recruiting superior talent on his name, not by actually coaching Xs and Os.  I say that as someone who thinks recruiting is 80% of CFB coaching. Jimmies and Joes over Xs and Os will do exactly what it has done for CU - put some Ws on the board and butts in the seats.  What it won't do is win games that matter.

Mack Brown won a title at Texas and played for another doing exactly that.

I hate to admit I am somewhat surprised by this.....I guess color me stupid for thinking that Dion would not just let it all ride and go with anything that got more wins on the field

pretty embarrassing when you pis all your money away and can't even give an apple watch or some shit lime that in the swag bag.......and it sounds like Dion might fit right in at OU

I am changing now to he will probably leave Colorado sooner than later just to get to somewhere with fresh money and to leave behind a bunch of worthless, violent, pieces of shit and to get a fresh start and then he can blame it on "well I was not there to keep it in check"

this is what Colorado signed up for and this would not be their first go around with shit bags for players as long as they win more than they lose

I’m happy with the season, and congrats to the team.

Like I said, my cousin (mom’s side) coaches for them so I wanted them to do well.

Weirdly, I have another cousin on the Colorado men’s basketball team (dad’s side) and neither one of them know each other.

I thought it was strange that they went back to using 10 personnel for the majority of the game. I thought they stopped doing that after Nebraska spent an entire game taking free sprints into their backfield. And then their game last night looked very similar to the NU game. Probably just a coincidence.

You look at their 4 losses, other than KState, they were totally dominated and dismantled up front by older, bigger Defensive lines.  KState game was closer but still same type of DL exposed them.  Seaton seems like a really smart kid, and if he can keep his shit together he'll probably be a first round pick in a few years.  He held his own better than I thought he would but he's still just an 18 year old kid playing against 23,24, 25 year old men.

Not sure why you're referencing his playing days.  Seems irrelevant to his coaching career.

I disagree w/ the notion that he's a "good coach" when all he does is trade on his NIL to get kids to play for him, while acknowledging that recruiting is the majority of coaching.  He'll never have that other piece that makes him a truly good coach - the kind that wins a conference championship, or greater.

Same feeling, great marketer, not a great corch.  But he was good at getting some corches who could handle that.  Too bad he's losing more this year as well.  Livingston seems like a great hire and that D got better as the season went on.  Theres plenty of talent on that team, I can't think of one team they played that was more talented.  ASU might be the only team more talented than them in the the B12.

I think Charles Barkley would have something to say about going to a strip club in San Antonio.

And he wouldn't be wrong.  I still have mental scars from the scrip clubs I went to in college.

I honestly just assumed all of the "historic" Big 12 teams played baseball, even if not very well. It's just a sport that everyone has.

The only team we'd hear about at a national level would be Texas, anyway.

I only knew Iowa State didn't have a team because of that weird feel-good storying going around of their softball team trading fandoms with West Virginia a couple of years ago.

Today I learned that Colorado doesn't have a Div 1 baseball team.

The only D1 baseball in Colorado is at Air Force and at U Northern Colorado in Greeley for some reason.

UC-CS has a cool field:

Mines' field is also scenic:

Betcha back in HS I could've hit the ball over them mountains.

Growing up playing baseball in CO, the best was when you'd go play a tournament somewhere in the mountains.  The ball really travels at 9k feet.

There is no way that I would draft Shadeur, unless Deion has a fatal heart attack this season.

For anyone who thought that LaVar Ball was a shit stain helicopter 🚁 parent bringing turmoil to his kids’ teams, now make LaVar a Hall of Famer with an even bigger mouth.

Any coach whose owner drafts Shedeur will be gone from that team in fewer than 3 seasons and possibly as few as one.

My nightmare scenario?

Jerry Jones fires fat boy, hires Deion, and Shedeur is drafted in the 1st round by the Dallas Cowboys.

NECRO BUMP…

That’s right. On August 31st, I posted my nightmare scenario.

I’m in my mid-50s and as a life long Cowboys Fan, I honestly think my loyalties would switch to the Texans. I’ve seen enough of side-show Jerrah, to convince me that I’ve wasted the last 2+ decades.

And this is from a guy that spent 1K for my son’s B-Day present to see his beloved Saints vs my Cowboys during Week-2 of this season. Tickets (pretty good seats for two) parking, hotel the night before, because living in SA, restaurant to watch the Longhorns the night before, and all that shit adds up! Not counting concessions when he asked for my CC to go get two popcorns and water prior to KO. I asked how much? He said you don’t want to know! Shit was over $60!

Almost booted my son out of my truck as we entered Hamilton, as I swear he stated “Who Dat?” one more time, he was walking his ass back to SA!

January of 2024, Jerrah says fathead Mike is staying and he intends to re-up Dak.

For those reasons, I tapped out on the team I had followed from childhood since Tony Dorsett was a rookie.  My lifetime loyalty was over, despite the idiotic transgressions Jerry had made in the past, these were the straws that broke the camel's back.  This season was one of the most enjoyable campaigns in the past 28 years. No risk.  No disappointment.  No anger.  I had immunity from the idiocy that is Jerry Jones, the football man.

Now, the Cowboys are on the precipice of zero doubt and absolute calamity of what a serious sports franchise should NOT ever be.  I am here to cheer it on.  This is Jerry Jones, the football man, the show from which you cannot stop watching.
