Where in South America do you live?
¡Olé!

Most native Texans refer to SA as: NOT
San Angelo, San Augustine, South America, or South Africa, but the one and only San Antonio, Texas.

January of 2024, Jerrah says fathead Mike is staying and he intends to re-up Dak.
For those reasons, I tapped out on the team I had followed from childhood since Tony Dorsett was a rookie.  My lifetime loyalty was over, despite the idiotic transgressions Jerry had made in the past, these were the straws that broke the camel's back.  This season was one of the most enjoyable campaigns in the past 28 years. No risk.  No disappointment.  No anger.  I had immunity from the idiocy that is Jerry Jones, the football man.
Now, the Cowboys are on the precipice of zero doubt and absolute calamity of what a serious sports franchise should NOT ever be.  I am here to cheer it on.  This is Jerry Jones, the football man, the show from which you cannot stop watching.

I could have written that. Same after the GB game last year. I only watched thanksgiving game since I was at the in-laws. If they won, one Monday morning I would watch the 8 minute recap on the nfl channel in YT. If they lost I wouldn’t bother.

Fun fact: San Augustine was established a year before San Antonio. So who's the real SA here?

“Phi Slamma Jama” with the three HOFs coaching the Buffs next year. Good luck without the QB and Heisman.

We’ll really see if Deion has built a program in 2025. Still think the win total is 7(+/-) if I was a betting man.

Shilo is probably somewhere between 26 and 39-years-old. It seems very likely that they played the Dominican little league thing with his high school days. Sorry, mom, but your high school junior son is gonna have to get trucked by a 20-year-old. Don't say anything to him or he might pummel a middle-aged man into permanent neurological damage.

Guy to the left of Deion here, Dallas rapper Yella Beezy was arrested and charged with Capital murder today in the killing of rival Dallas rapper MO3.. Shitty pic but dude is a mainstay in the Prime orbit/locker room

Odd timing to get arrested 5 years later right? Likely its connected to this next picture, which puts Mr Beezy on the sidelines at a Dallas Cowboys game with the guy who killed a Fort Worth rapper and his little girl at a Slappys Car Wash last month. Putting 2 and 2 together dude with dreads got caught and is telling everything

Oops.

ps- I was today years old when I discovered that there was a competitive Dallas rap scene, much less that the competition was worthy of an episode of “Murder She Wrote”.

Almost 30 years ago Tupac and Biggie got killed and it was front page news.

Now, one of these guys gets whacked every month and no one gives a shit because they have no talent whatsoever.

They die so often that aggy football doesn't even blame their losses on them.

Yella Beezy is accused of ordering murders and is a known bigshot in a criminal organization. The dude that got caught for the Slappys murder is only in his early 20s with a rap sheet that draws immediate suspicion as to who got bribed to keep this dude on the streets (long enough to gun down a rapper and his 8 year old little girl at a public business in broad daylight)

Good guy to have around the locker room of a college football team influencing players and offering them "internships" with his "record label"

Mr Pookie pretty much locked it down so there was no need for anyone else.

It is kind of sad that outside of Nemesis, Pookie and now X, Dallas is so far behind in the rap game(DOC doesn't count because he went to the West Coast).

D.O.C. is back in the Metroplex and trying to set up a studio for up-and-comers to learn production and to record the nextgen.

I had never heard of him before seeing his documentary at the Fort Worth Modern Art Museum last year (followed by a Q&A).

Holy shit balls!!! Proper fucking love. I still count DOC as Dallas even though he got down with NWA. Nemesis and it rolls.. the base lines in their songs and they way they recorded them in studio was amazing. Otherwise, I'd love to disagree with your overall take but sadly can't.

It shocks me how many people dont know DOC. Obviously, growing in Pleasant Grove in the 80s Im um... a bit more "urban aware" than most but DOC never got the love he deserved not only for his rap career but for all the production work he did post.

I've clearly derailed this thread with my DOC fanboi shit, but... it was a big part of my youth.

The D.O.C is one of my favorite rappers... I was actually listening to "It's Funky Enough" today on the way home. He's been holding it down producing, but man... where he could have been if that accident didn't mess up his voice.

Yeah man.. obviously its all pure speculation at this point, but in my extremely biased opinion I think he's up there with NWA, Public Enemy, Beastie Boys.. while I loved Slick Rick, Too Short, Grand Master Flash, Sugar Hill Gang, IceT etc, I would put DOC over all of those outside NWA, PE and Beasties as my personal preference. I thought he lyrics were better than PE even.
