Whatever the score, TCU’s shitty QB will have his best game of the year against us.

We gave him his best game last year, and after the game against Tech, hard to think that it won't be a repeat.

As long as Ash finds a way to minimize the snaps Green, Foster and Mitchell get then I feel ok about being able to stop the froggies.  O Line and receivers need to play with fire or it's going to be another frustrating day for the offense

Don’t get me wrong. I’m wringing my hands with the rest of you after yesterday’s performance. But we’re going to win.

Hey, how's your mom?

Not only are there people dumb enough to bet significant money on college football, but there also are people dumb enough to bet for/against a Tom Herman coached Texas.

... in a pandemic when we don't even have full certainty that the game will be played at all or which players will or will not participate in it.

Not to mention Texas drops a few games to inferior opponents every single year for a solid decade now.  It's just what we do.  I was cringing at people putting money on the spread against Tech.  It's like they haven't been watching Texas football since Colt walked off the field.  We are a team that sucked so bad last year they fired BOTH coordinators.  You don't just change playcallers and expect to automatically erase 5 losses, no matter what twitter tells you.

Yep.  And for many years now it has consistently performed far better than any team in college football has performed against the spread.

Is that supposed to be somehow comparable to betting on the 2017-present Texas Longhorns?

you said "bet significant money on college football".  so yes, it's comparable.

That's a terrible comparison. Yes I invest, and yes I think betting on the specific teams I mentioned is stupid.

From OB:

Quote

Texas receiver Jake Smith was a full participant in practice on Sunday, according to my sources.

In addition, running back Bijan Robinson did not practice, but I was told he looked good on Sunday. In addition, Robinson is expected to participate in practice on Tuesday or Wednesday.
