Thought this was great and gives a good history lesson to those who aren’t familiar with the Chicago Riot during the 1968 Democratic National Convention and the trial of the 7 afterwards.  It’s amazing how what occurred then in this country is still happening today.  Cast was really good especially Eddie Redmayne, Mark Rylance and Sacha Baron Cohen.

Same. All I could think about badger ward was have we progressed at all in the last 50 years?

I watched this tonight and thought it was great.  In addition to the others mentioned, DGL, Langella, and Keaton were also really good.  Just a great cast all around.

Speaking of Rylance, he was also really good in Dunkirk.

and for those unaware, judas and the black messiah is about fred hampton, who appeared in chicago 7.

I watched Judas and the Black Messiah a few days ago and, without much thought, watched The Trial of the Chicago 7.  Worked well together for a broader picture of Chicago in that era.
